My Favorite: Little Pepi’s Pizzelles
I am a frequent buyer of the anise & vanilla flavored pizzelles from Little Pepi’s Pizzelles. The pizzelles are in great condition here. It’s rare they come in all crumbled. Both Anise and Vanilla are absolutely delicious! I always order their 4 pack of waffle cookies (7 0z) because one great price 2 great snack to have with coffee. Pizzelles go pretty fast in my house. Delivery is fast, of course depending on the time of day you place an order you can expect these same day or overnight delivery pretty early in the morning. Now I read some of the reviews and want to clear up one thing Pizzelles can be on the softer side not all are crunchy, it doesn’t mean it’s stale. Pizzelles become soft when in a really warm environment or when you purposely want to warm them to reshape them. I have made ice cream sandwiches, also warmed them enough to mold them to make cannolis. Another great option is to dip them half way in melted chocolate add a touch a sprinkles and let the chocolate cool and harden. My kids like them with powdered sugar lightly sprinkled over them too. Anise is the flavor to go with and I hate licorice but it's the right flavor in many Italian cookies
I didn't even pay attention to the flavor other than not wanting something weird like chocolate or lemon. I like the almond, the vanilla but as soon as I tasted the Anise flavor just burst all over. I've made a lot of biscotti before and usually used Anise in those as well even though I hate licorice. This only tastes like what is good about licorice, if that makes any sense - it's not sharp or harsh it's the flavor these little pizzelles are supposed to be. I enjoy the almond and vanilla but from now on they will all be anise. I've had a number of shipments of fragile cookies but for whatever reason mine always arrive mostly intact unlike some the reviews I've read. It would be fun to ligthly dip this in an anise or vanilla white frosting /royal icing and let it dry and would make them party pretty and slightly sweeter. But I can just sit and munch down a bag of these over 2-3 days. They aren't my very favorite cookie (which is one I make myself) but it's a good tasty cookie especially with coffee or an expresso - they fit together like hand and glove. I don't dip because I hate soggy things just the flavors mix together so very well. Thank you Little Pepi's for making such a nice cookie for us all to share.

The coconut flavor is absolutely AWFUL! Do yourself a favor and DON'T buy them!
I bought 3 flavors of these. I wasn't sure about the first box: I love licorice, but in a cookie-like treat? Hmmm. Well, it was really good. Even my husband thought so. Tonight I decided to open a second package: Coconut. Do yourself a favor: do NOT - I repeat DO NOT buy these! They are 100% without the slightest doubt AWFUL!In the first place Pizzelles are supposed to be crisp. These are RUBBERY. NOT good! And that's only half the story. My husband got half of the small cookie, and I got the other half. Even so the taste will not stop. There is a really bad taste that is almost chemical. I don't know if you've ever had anything what was supposed to be a banana flavored dessert, but there is an unforgettable taste with the artificial banana flavors. This is like that only a thousand times worse. Yes, artificial banana tastes artificial. It isn't a good taste, but it isn't the worst thing you can have. THIS? This tastes artificial and NASTY, and the nastiness lasts WAY too long.I still have the vanilla flavor, and I think I may have to have some of those to see if I get over the one half of a smaller Pizzelle. I figure we're stuck with these, but there is hope for you: I hope you heed my warning. There is another review about this same problem. I was going to snap these in half to give some to my husband but was surprised when I tried that only to have the Pizzelle fold in half like a book.Oh, I was putting this away. We will not eat them, but I thought I'd try again on a smaller bite. I broke off one of the little pieces that extend around the outside edges of the Pizzelle. Even such a small piece is goodness gracious awful! Because I know that even the licorice was great I cannot for the life of me figure out what went so wrong here. However, I know I am not alone: there is another reviewer who apparently got a bag of these from the same batch as mine. At least you have been warned. Hopefully you won't have an experience like mine.

Fresh, not over powering
First time ordering and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised. The flavor was just right and not overwhelming and the cookies were fresh and crisp.

Needs different packaging
These were delicious! Without question very flavorful. But the packaging and shipping leaves a lot to be desired. By the time they got to me they were crushed. The first time they were shipped in a bag inside soft cardboard box threw the mail. I had tasty cookie crumbs. Good product NOT good packaging and shipping.
