This is great as dumbells or for doing some curls.It is, however, not long enough to be used as a barbell.I wish the company would sell (or come with) a red connector that is much longer so it could be used as a barbell as well.Quality otherwise is very good for the price.

I was skeptical of these but they seem good. One of the weights arrived with a cut on the lining but it doesn’t seem like anything duct tape couldn’t fix. Also, I was missing one of the smaller weights so I’ve contacted the seller to see if I can get one. I’ll update what they say. Other than that, these seem like a good buy for someone looking for an inexpensive way to workout at home. The bars and securing devices were easy to use and the weights did not move when secured. Nothing fancy about this set, its just the basics.Update: they replied very quick and are sending an entire replacement set. I’ve changed my rating to 5 stars for this. Great set for the money.

I've been shopping for a weight set to use during the pandemic and many of the other sellers had sketchy reviews and the exact same photograph for different sets of weights.This seller/product actually allowed me to see all of the reviews so this is the one I ordered.It arrived almost a week early and I am very pleased with the set.All of the weights were in perfect condition and they fit tightly on the bar so I feel secure about using them without fear of something going wrong.Keep in mind that these are plastic covered weights and you shouldn't drop them or they might crack.These weights will do fine for most people and they are quite the bargain.

The item itself is fairly nondescript. It's a generic sand weight set, the quality of which I'd say is a little better than those old vinyl ones you've probably seen in someones Dad's basement. Adding weight in this way is economical. The adjustable bar and joiner set means you can use this in a couple of different configurations which is novel and makes it easier to store in a smaller living situation. I can't really find too much fault in the item itself.However: It arrived missing significant amounts of parts and just tossed in a box, documentation, no care made so the weights weren't flopping around. Just weights, bars, and threaded stoppers all tossed in a box with packing paper. The seller was able to address the issue by sending replacement parts separately but BOTH times the items arrived poorly packed. Because of its weight, if I were to return it I would have to take it to my nearest UPS drop off point. That's right, take these poorly and dangerously packed weights and go make a trip some play to address it. From what I've been reading in the lesser popular reviews, this is a fairly common problem.First time: Bulk weights and bar tossed into a large box with packing paper with no organization, separation etc.Second time: Very small box arrived damaged, plastic packing ties barely holding it together and packed in some sort of packing bag. I got lucky, but nothing was lost in shipment.
