Things are getting expensive for some reason, so I will have to put a pause on any Amazon purchases. I am sorry because you have a good product.

The power charger that comes with the Oral B electric toothbrush bought in the US, can only be used in North America on 110 AC unless you have a transformer. For traveling in either Europe or the US, this adapter will charge specific makes of Oral B electric toothbrushes. You will still need a plug adapter for Europe, but you won’t need a transformer to convert between AC current (US) and DC current (Europe). The travel adapter is rated 50-60hz and 100-220v.

Works great

Purchased to use in Europe when traveling. Checked it out at home before putting in our travel gear and it worked. Forward to now and it is non functional. Tried an available 110v socket……nothing……. Then put on plug adapter and tried the 220v socket. The Oral B handle started acting strangely with the various lights going on and off……. Then, it stopped for good. Luckily the handle was OK, but didn’t charge at all. For us, a waste of money and now beyond the return window…..lesson learned I guess.

The charger that came with our Oral B toothbrushes would only use 110v to 120v. Since we travel overseas regularly we found that usually our hotel would have a 110v outlet in the bathroom for "shavers". The last trip we took only 1 hotel had a working 110v outlet so by the end of our trip our tootbrushes were dead. We bought this charger because it can run from 110v to 240v so we will not have the same problem on future trips.

Bought this to take on a trip overseas where their electrical outlets are 220 volts not our 110. It allowed me to charge my electric toothbrush while there and still works back here at home.

This is working for my daughter who is spending the year in Europe. I wish Oral B would make them charges like this to begin with instead of trying to sell this same thing for 2.4 times more. My only knock on it is that there is an audible hum when plugged in, it makes me wonder about its longevity.Had it been without the hum it is easily 5 stars. Ours could have been an anomaly

Perfect for most international travel plus can also use at home in the US. No need to switch chargers when you return from overseas unless you want to.
