Info holds up in 2015, plus includes technology procedures advice. This book's a winner.
I wish I had this book years ago when I first got into clerical accounting. It's very well written, with so much info. (I had to learn so much of it the hard way on the job prior to finding this book. Wish I found it years ago.) Also had newer computer age info, with newer possible procedures than in my experience. I recommend this book, even in the year 2015, because the info holds up plus includes technology procedures advice.

Good overview of the e-processing in the payables
I bought the book to learn about the e-invoicing aspect of the AP. It gives a good description of the topic, and to my surprise mentions the e-invoicing platform that I work with (the IBX eInvoice platform). The AP e-processing workflow gave me a good understanding of what is involved in the process; I had a vague idea of it before and would often time engage in arguments with my finance users not understanding their position and the underlining reasons for their demands.

good information, however so many typo's I wonder about the author's command of English and who published the book.self published perhaps...that's fine, but he needs to have an editor review. the information is helpful.

A fresh look on the established notions
I believe that the book is very honest and AP-politically incorrect. One observation (on top of my liking and agreeing to various degrees with the AP subjects discussed): the author says that the T&E (reimbursements) has a great income element within, which I believe is true, and which, I know, is a topic that the business decision-makers and legislators do not want to touch [again] under any circumstances. The SSN break down issued by state is interesting. Payroll, Excel and "Quick CPA preparation" chapters are welcome and useful. The Appendix initially appeared to serve as a "volume added tax" for the book, until I realized that it is more convenient at times to refer to such Appendix and not the internet.Five stars for all intents and purposes.

Great reference
This book was very helpful with the kind of business I'm in. I make 100's of payments each month and this book made things easier, especially when we require the payee to submit a W-9 form. I always wondered "when is this needed"? Is it really needed? This book helps you determine when and why to request certain forms from certain vendors. It's a great reference.

A breakthrough for understanding Accounts Payable Process
This book really helps someone like me who does not understand the Accounts Payable process and breaks it down to allow someone understand the intricacies. I had a need to develop an AP application system that processed payments, this book gave me the foundations that allow me to to see things from the user and the administrative perspective.
