Manhattan Comfort Doris Mid-Century Modern Living Room TV Stand, White

First, this TV Stand looks good, cute and modern, looks just like the picture. It arrived a few days earlier which was very helpful. We put it together during the holiday time off from work. Now the bad part..... (1) The instruction booklet showed assembly diagrams with numbers on the wood pieces, but the actual pieces we got were not numbered or labeled. Made it hard to identify the pieces to match the assembly steps. (2) A lot of the pre-drilled holes were not correctly drilled that caused pieces did not lined up. My husband spent lot of time in re-doing the holes so the drawer and doors can line up. My husband is pretty handy, he put together a lot of furniture including huge bookshelves with drawers and doors, storage units, and he fixes stuff around the house. Because there were so many little things to fix/change, it took him 3.5 hours for this stand which was very unexpected. When it was done, it looked good. However, it came another issue. (3) We put a 46 inches flat screen TV on this stand, right away, the wood is bowing already. The product description said it accommodates up to a 50" TV. This is a 53 inches long TV stand, the legs are on both far ends, there is no support in the middle. So far, TV, a router, and a small xbox are the only things we put on this stand. All the shelves and drawer are still empty. We are not going to put anything in until we can find something to add to the middle of this stand for support. I don't want to disassemble it and return this because I think it will cause more stress to deal with the returning. This product was not from Amazon Prime, don't know how much it would be to ship it back. Anyway, we will try to look for something to add support in the middle or don't put the TV on the stand. If you are not handy-man type, or not ready to improvise, do not buy this product.This TV stand does look good but the work to assemble it and it cannot sustain the weight of a 46" TV, I gave it a 2 start.

I think it’s great I seen quite a good amount amount of people complain about the building part of it but I didn’t have this issue only because I had my handy man boyfriend put the whole thing together and he took about a hour but not many complaints on his end either so maybe ask someone experienced with putting things together to help you with this one cause from watching him I do feel I would’ve had a difficult time with that as well but none the less I love it! I did however expected it to be a bit wider but it works!

Stand looks good, but has a very strong super glue smell.I keep ref windows open for a week now and smell is still very strong.Considering that it is 20 degrees outside I cannot say that this is something pleasant to deal with.I really don’t know how much longer is going to take and how toxic this evaporation is.

It's a cute stand but I had to make a few modifications to make it look better

The legs are so wobbly and fail, also I had the hardest time trying to put the cabinet doors on so they were even. If you have never installed cabinetry I suggest you hire a pro for that part. I was not impressed with the overall quality.
