Great Metronome!
I was looking for an old fashioned metronome, that would look decent on the piano, and have a nice mechanical ping with a bell. After looking at many options, I finally found this one. It's much more affordable than others I have seen, but I couldn't be more pleased. It's a very decent looking laminate, has a nice sturdy feel, keeps time well, lasts a long time from the wind-up, and does it's job well. Also, it's got a nice walnut-esque color (perhaps slightly lighter in town than a typical walnut, but pretty close). Highly recommend!

It's a winner!
Really a nice looking metronome. Works great, is fairly loud, which I like, since it can cut through the background noise, and seems to be well made. The wind up function works well also. Just wind fairly easily, and it will stop at a certain point, which is good, so the spring mechanism does not get wound up too tight. It was also packed very well in foam so it came with absolutly no dings, dents, scratches, etc. It's a winner!

Nice
Very good product for the price. I'm not sure what a top-of-the-line metronome is like, but the one we were sent works great, and has no outstanding issues. There's also something about the novelty of a mechanical metronome that makes me just want to use it more. This was a good purchase.

Fleor Mechanical Metronome
Nice product. I bought it so I had a visual, and sound, instead of just an electronic sound. It has a cover, but you probably won't use it. Easy to operate, and it has an additional "down beat" for a measure, for the lack of a better term. Nicely made, and attractive. Also, I thought it was a good price when compared to other visual metronomes.

Bad buy
When I first received this item I was very excited. It looked great and had great finish. I was well pleased. It broke after 3 uses. That's 2 days. Less than an hour of use. The pendulum just broke right off mid use. It stopped while I was playing. I turned the key but it did not need to be turned really anymore it had just begun. When I looked down inside the mechanism where the pendulum attaches to the rest of the mechanism clean broke off. Thank Amazon for a wonderful return policy.

Does the job but the simulated wood casing is ugly
I am comparing mechanical metronomes. All three have beat selection and a bell. The Tempi mechanical metronome is more of a pronounced pyramid shape compared to the others; It is a beautiful simulated dark wood; the tick-tock sounds like an old clock. It is the least loud out of the three and probably the least irritating. If you don't require a super loud metronome and are okay coughing out $50 for it (on sale) this gorgeous one is for you. My second favorite is the piano black Neewer NW-707. It is also good looking and twice as loud as the Tempi with a higher frequency tick-tock; at $22.99 it is a bargain. Finally the Fleor at $27.19 is slightly louder than the tempi but not as loud as the Neewer but it is the ugliest. The description says teak and has an nice picture of it. Unfortunately in real life it is an ugly plasticky fake looking trying to resemble a medium oak. If you want to save money, have a need for a loud metronome, or if your decor is black then the Neewer is your best choice. If you want a piece of art to showcase on your coffee table with a two year warranty and can afford the steep price then he Tempi is the one. The Fleor is just ugly. I kept the Tempi and the Neewer and returned the Fleor.
