Great product
I use this to make fufu and it turns out great every time. No bad after-taste. Pairs very well with soups and sauces. It makes for a great thickener too.

Healthier option
Healthier option compared to fufu or plantain fufu. Taste is good as well.

Great introduction to cassava fufu
I was looking for taro flour to make Taiwanese steamed buns (mantou) and came across this Fufu flour. I decided to buy it and simultaneously looked up recipes for Ghanaian groundnut stew. They were fabulous!!! I'm a total fan now and so glad this to have had this serendipitous introduction to African cuisine. The fufu were wonderfully easy to make. Just add warm water and stir, adding more water or fufu flour to get the consistency you like. They were sticky and a little messy to make, but totally fun and delightfully chewy. I love the slightly purple color. I add a tiny bit of white sugar to sweeten it a little, making them taste more like the taro mantou I grew up with. Combined with the thick, delicious savory peanut and chicken stew, it was super comforting and perfect for a cold day. Very reminiscent of chicken and dumplings but heartier and with more of a kick.I would not recommend fufu for diabetics, however, as cassava is very high in starch (as are most root vegetables). The only reason I don't give this product 5 stars is it contains chemical preservatives. Next time I will buy a pure cassava flour that doesn't have preservatives, and just store it in the fridge.

Bad Bad Purple Colored Fufu
My friend from Nigerian came to stay with me for one month. He could not swallow this fufu. He said it doesn't even taste the fufu. The Ola brand takes more like fufu, but this one is bad. Too bad I already purchased 2 plus boxes. I will never buy it again.
