This dress was great!! We did a 1920's theme for our family reunion and this dress was an absolute hit. The fit was amazing and it does have just enough stretch to hug your curves. I am 5'8 & 210 pounds. I ordered the XL. I hope this helps someone.😊

Based on others reviews on here, I ordered a small first and was even considering a medium b/c it seemed like from what people said, and from the way it fit in the pictures (quite tight on some folks!) that it ran very small. it does NOT run small if you are being true about your size. Here are my exact measurements for reference. 5ft 7 inches and about 112 lbs. I am NOT at all flat chested by any means. the length: perfect...below the knee w/the fringe reaching my mid calf. the small was def too LARGE. i got the X tra small and fits perfectly. as a mater of fact in the upper portion near the shoulders, it actually has some extra room. but this is a good thing b/c this is the style and it allows natural movement of my body. I was concerned that w/my chest, it would cut me off under the armpits and be too tight up top. nope! perfect!! to be honest, I could have even gotten away w/the small...even though it had a LOT of extra room, b/c of the 20s style, it still would have been OK for the themed event but it was clearly too big. the XS is perfect and not at all tight in the chest area. it is a themed event but did not want to look too "costume" and I am 40. wanted to still look "classy" and fun but not just "silly". this is perfect for that. The beading and fringe are good quality. some of the colors in this style, i did not care for. i feel the darker ones w/the black look good and not too over the top. Dark green/black was a great choice. I deducted one star b/c at the top there is some sequence that are multicolored mixed in w/the really pretty green beading of the rest of the dress. i feel these multicolor additions cheapen the look a bit. overall love it though and it will work great for the event. the Green is also easy to match w/a head piece. i got a peacock feather fascinator that works well w/these colors.

Very pretty dress perfect for a Gatsby party. The fit was as I expected it would be, but be sure to read the size chart. Don't order your regular dress size; it WILL be too small, especially if you have any curves. I needed an XL in the bust and waist and a 3X in the hips. I took a chance on the 2X because of the large size difference between the 2X and 3X. It was a bit tight in the hips (expected), but some Jockey shaping shorts at Target helped. The waist was a good fit (a bit smaller than expected, based on the size chart) and the bust was huge (much bigger than expected, considering I only was going one size larger than I thought I needed AND I had on a padded bra). It was easy to take a few small stitches under the armpits and along the bust so the dress fit a bit better. The beading hid the stitches.I could have ordered a larger size to come closer to that straight 20s fit, but be aware that this dress isn't straight cut. Achieving that 20s fit will be difficult unless you alter the dress a bit, or if you are very curvy. If I had sized up to get a looser fit in the hips, it would have gapped and slipped off my shoulders in a bad way...not in a good "20s cut" way.The beading and fringe was decent quality. The beads and sequins are just glued on, so expect a few loose beads. I had to trim a few beads off, and also snip some long pieces of fringe, but nothing major.A tip: if you're going to a large party, don't order this in black or ivory. 95% of the other people there will also have dresses from Amazon and will pick black or ivory. I picked dark green and didn't see a single other person in dark green. This dress is beautiful in dark green (and it looks great with a peacock feather headband!).

I'm 5'7" and 183lbs, ordered up a size because of reviews, XXL works best just a little loose in the bust area, it was great for the Roaring 20's Theme, the color is more gold than apricot, I was very impressed!

Absolutely beautiful beadwork on this dress. Craftsmanship alone would warrant this dress to get 5 stars but the fit was just wrong for curvy figure. I’m a 38D and the chest on the XL fit perfectly but my hips caused the dress to fit too snugly. I had trouble getting the dress’s lining to fit comfortably and the lining stopped too short for me (I’m 5’6”). Maybe if the hips hadn’t been so snug, the lining would have been longer. Sizing up want an option because then the arm holes would gape. I ended up returning it.

The quality of this dress exceeded my expectations! The photos don’t do it justice. A word of caution, the pattern of the dress accentuated my hips. As for the fit, I’m smaller in the chest than the hips. There was room in the chest, but it wasn’t noticeably big. The dress fit to my curves. I typically wear a size 6-8 depending on the cut of the dress (curves). I ordered a Medium.

OMG I can't say enough about this dress. I was so pleased with the quality. Thick material because of the under layer. Side zipper was perfectly hidden. Sequins sewn tight and covered entire dress. Absolutely stunning. Now about the fit (which was my biggest concern since I got the dress the day before my event), fit was as expected according to the sizing chart. I checked each of the categories prior to ordering. I am 5'4" and 130lbs. I tend to fall between a size 5/6 but am currently a healthy 6 (which is why i was worried). I have thick thighs and hips. I ordered a small and there was a little extra room throughout but it was tight enough to be smok'n hot. I did order a medium just in case and it was too big though I would have been fine with it if I had not ordered the small. I hope y'all enjoy the dress as much as I did. I plan to buy another color for next year. Oh- length was great too, the cut that everyone talks about landed several inches below my rear end. I had absolutely no issues with my bottom showing. The strings went just below my knees which is what i was hoping for.

Bought this as a last minute punt at getting a 1920s dress for my company Christmas do. Turned out to be a good idea!Got plenty of compliments on it too, loved the way it moved and sparkled.I bought the XL size after reading the sizes come up a bit small. I'm a UK 14 top and 16 bottom.The fit was almost right, good on my lower curves and just a little loose around the underarm area but I balanced that out with my shrug around my arms.It is quite a delicate dress so be careful when putting it on and going to the bathroom. I think it maybe has another couple of uses to get out of it but that's just fine for such a reasonable price.

This dress was a little tight had xxxl but next size up would have been far too big. This was the 8th dress I tried in 1920s style, not all from same company but this was the best fit. The lining kept riding up so I was constantly conscious od it’s length, I am 70 years old lol, but overall was happy with the dress.

Wie erwartet ein wunderschönes Kleid, dass für eine Kostümparty oder auch einen Mottoabend super geeignet ist. Es sieht etwas schicker aus als die so üblichen 20er-Jahre-Kostüme für Fasching. Also, kann es meiner Meinung nach auch für eine Feier anziehen, wenn's thematisch passt oder etwas extravaganter sein soll. Ich finde allerdings auch, dass es nicht unbedingt super edel in der Verarbeitung aussieht, aber für den Preis kann das auch niemand wirklich erwarten. Das Kleid sieht insgesamt gut aus, ist angenehm zu tragen und hat mir prima gepasst. Ein kleiner Fehler bei den Pailletten konnte ich zwar entdecken, aber der war so unauffällig, dass es mich nicht störte. Habe größe S bestellt und sonst trage ich 36/38. Das passte gut, auch wenn es dann enger anliegt, als es zu der damaligen Zeit Mode war. Ein bisschen Luft hatte ich auch noch und es lag nicht supereng an. Es war einfach bequem und etwas tailliert, was wohl den heutigen Geschmack mehr trifft.Wer es glitzerig und voller Pailletten mag, der ist da richtig. Es ist jedenfalls ein Hingucker!Lieferung pünktlich. Bin ingesamt zufrieden.

Nachdem ich oben recht schlank bin (Größe36/38), um die Hüften aber etwas rundlicher (40/42), habe ich Größe L gewählt. Um die Hüften hat das Kleid perfekt gepasst, am Oberkörper habe ich an den Seiten etwas eingenäht. Das Kleid saß dann perfekt. Die Qualität ist hochwertig und das Kleid ist angenehm zu tragen.Dazu habe ich mir Netzstrümpfe mit feinerer Masche besorgt und verschiedene Accessoires (BABEYOND 1920s Flapper Set Damen Gatsby (Set-3)  BABEYOND 1920s Flapper Set Damen Gatsby Kostüm Accessoires Set inklusive Stirnband Halskette Handschuhe Zigarettenhalter (Set-3) ). Ich habe mich mit dem Kleid sehr wohl gefühlt und viele Komplimente bekommen, sowohl von weiblicher als auch männlicher Seite.Ein bisschen schwierig sind die Fäden, da sie schwer zusammenzuhalten sind (vor allem auf der Toilette :-) und man sie leicht rauszieht. Ich habe die abgegangenen Fäden zuhause mit einer Stopfnadel (mit großer Öse!) wieder eingefädelt. Ging problemlos.Würde das Kleid sofort wieder kaufen. I wasn't sure what to expect when ordering this as ordering online can be so risky, but this is one risk I am glad I took.I am so so pleased with this dress, and was recieving compliments all night and even came second in a best dressed competition (next to a man in some fabulous drag).The dress itself is beautiful and much better quality than expected and the sequin design is beautiful. I was worried about the quality of the tassels too, but they were cut perfectly and none looked straggly.Based on previous reviews suggested by others I went for a size 10 (I usually wear an 8-10). It fit me beautifully everywhere bar the chest where it was slightly loose (32D), but not that you could tell by looking at me - then again, I am very short and if I was slightly longer bodied I think it would have been a perfect fit.The dress has a zip down the left body, so its easy to get on and off. I will definitly be wearing this dress again. Most impressed.
