Minimal shedding, great practice great for any age!!

The doll has a lot of hair it do shed easily but it’s manageable great quality hair

Despite her having synthetic hair I’ve been working to stay well oiled on my heatless styles for prom bridal and special event updos/styles for clients. The doll has so much hair almost too much 👩🏻‍🦰lol I trimmed and thinned. It does tangle just like Barbie doll hair but I will spray a bit with a leave in conditioner and then smooth back out on low heat with flat iron. Works like a charm! Pass through with a rat tail comb as you start from the nape/ back lowest area of hair up. Don’t press down long enough to melt, it does take quite a bit if it’s on a low setting so it’s sort of hard to intentionally do so. If you do melt it then that’s your sign it’s too hot. I was able to add some extra clip ins to be Abel to create curls to blend with all this dolls hair for a different style. I love this mannequin I will buy a human/animal version next!

My daughter asked for this item to learn how to braid her own hair. It is marketed as a item that resembles natural black hair. It isn't, not even in it's blown out stated. However, it is being used for it's intended purpose I guess. It's not as thick as the one we had before which was cheaper but it isn't thinning either. It's overall a good product just doesn't resemble natural black hair as described and was a major buying point for us.

This is the third time we have bought this. I bought for my budding hairstylist daughter. She has practiced styling the hair, cutting the hair.... sisters are happy she has a head to go to for her hair practice.Then we bought it as a gag gift for brother in law who was away from his girlfriend. He could practice braiding her hair! He likes it.... I think.Now my daughter just bought for a tween friend who also loves fashion.Who'd have thought?! You my think this is just for beauty school people. Nope! It's been a great gift.

I used this to put on a mannequin as a Christmas decoration. Had to modify slightly, but it worked!
