I always appreciate photos in reviews that’s why I added some since this product didn’t have any yet. The after picture I took just a few hours after applying the tanner, after a couple more hours I find it has reached its maximum development and appears even darker! I love this self tanner! I am no person to rave about products unless they really stand out! I’ve tried a couple other self tanners and they either made me look yellow or orange. This one looks natural and I have already been asked multiple times what tanner I use because it looks so natural. I do have to say that it smells nice in the beginning (light scent) but after a couple of hours it does develop a noticeable self-tanner-smell, which is unavoidable if you want results. However the smell disappears after a little while. It is very easy to apply and has never left me with streaks. You do have to be careful on your hands, feet, elbows etc but that goes with every self tanning product - exfoliating helps! On my arms and legs it lasts me 3-5 days, but I have to reapply on chest, neck, face and hands more often as these areas always fade quicker on me. This is the first self tanner I’m sticking with because of it’s amazing results! It’s also available at Target online in case Amazon runs out ;)

This is by far THE best self-tanner I have tried and I have tried them ALL from expensive to drugstore: Loving Tan, St. Tropez, Mine Tan, Jergens, etc...The shade produced with this product is just as it says, a warm brown tone--with ZERO orange. The scent is also not overpowering and I can barely detect the DHA as it develops. Now, if you are looking to get SUPER dark, this is probably not the product for you, BUT if you are light-medium in skin tone and are hoping to achieve a beautiful BROWN glow to your complexion--this will get you there. As with ALL self-tanners, make sure you exfoliate and moisturize prior to application. I found that I can shower, shave, use a nice coating of lotion, and then immediately apply the product. I use my hands, as mitts are annoying for me and tend to soak up a lot of product. The ONLY con I have with this, is in the bottle design. Trying to squeeze out both the bronzer AND the booster is super messy and sometimes you can't get enough of the booster out of the tube. It's a design flaw, but not enough to make me discard using the product. I get no streaks with the application and the color guide does help ensure a smooth tan will develop. I also have not seen any rub-off on my clothes once dry. For me, it takes about ten minutes to dry all the way and I can put on my sweats with no worries. Take your time. This is not one of those you can just slap on and go. I have found my tan to last five days with proper moisturizing and I have yet to find any blotches or patchiness as it fades. For reference, I am of mixed ethnicity, with a light to medium, neutral olive skin tone. This tanner is the ONLY one I have used that gets me closest to my own tanning shade if I were to lay out in the sun! I also have SUPER sensitive skin and have not had any reactions, however, I do not use this on my face so I cannot vouch for how it would react in terms of clogging pores and whatnot. I am so pleased with this product, that I have already recommended it to two friends who have already purchased! I’ve used MysticTan products in the past by was intrigued by the “booster” and have it a go. So glad I did! Product goes on well, and produces a nice bronze (not orange) color! Perfect for creating that summertime glow. I am naturally olive toned and this shade works well with me and my fairer skinned friends, too. Will keep on hand!

I love this! I get mystic tan spray at the tanning salon, so I got this for in between sprays, because I don't go regularly. It's easy to apply and mixes well and not orange at all. It has just a very slight scent of sunless tanner, but nothing at all like most do. It dried fast, so that I could put my clothes on and didn't rub off on my white sheets. After I showered the next morning, the bronzer washed off, but left a nice golden color with no orange. I'll definitely be stocking up on this for when I can't get real sunshine.

I'd like to know what product these 5 star reviewers received because it definitely wasn't the Mystic Tan Duo 2-in-1 Self-Tan Lotion I got. I've tried a lot of self tanners and this one is the worst of the lot. You really get what you pay for. First of all, I'm not sure how, but the 'bronzer' side disappears when you apply it, so you can't tell where you've put the product (yes I used equal amounts of both to apply). Second of all, after it dries, it started to burn in several spots - VERY CONCERNING. Still, I went to sleep with it on. Should have known better because the next day, after showering, I have the red rash seen in the photos on several parts of my body. I do not have sensitive skin, I do not have allergies, I have never gotten a reaction from any of the million products I try on myself. Worst of all, the rash is about the only result of this self tanner. NO TAN!!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely no color on my body after using this product! And I am snow white. I'm in shock with how bad this mostly 5-star reviews product is, honestly. Oh and YES it stinks, just like every other self-tanner.

Terrible product. Combining the two made it a total hassle and not easy to use at all. I owned 5 tanning salons and very familiar with tanning products and self tanning products. This is probably one of the worst self tanners I have ever used. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Don’t buy this product.

I was really excited to receive this product... I love a tan/bronzed look but without the sun.When I apply this product, I don’t get the color I’d hoped for, and even with continued use, I’m not getting any self tanner benefits. I also don’t care for the smell. The lotion(s) are divided into two separate sections of the tube. It's hard to know how much of each to use. The brown liquid makes your face way too brown and shows if you miss any spot. It's like stain - but not high quality. The white liquid I'm guessing is the self tanner. I'm not noticing it working. I've tried combining them at different combinations and tried them alone. Doesn't work for me.
