Just how marzipan should be - moist and full of almond flavour, and coated in a rich, dark chocolate. Scrumptious!

ordered a pack of three but only one turned up. not very happy as it is a gift.tryed to sort it on orders and all it has kept saying is it doesnt take returns which i dont want to return just get my other two missing bars..

Pack of 3 advertised, only one bar arrived. Needed for Christmas presents, so two people disappointed.

Very nice but the chocolate lets them down.
Very good value for money so you can afford to give as small gifts. Attractively, individually wrapped so look expensive and enticing. Marzipan is delicious, firmer than the blocks you might buy from the store - you couldn't hope to mould this but that's not the intended use. The quality of the chocolate coating lets them down though. Whist I'd expect dark chocolate to be more brittle than its' milk cousin, this is not only brittle but quite thin. It also makes it quite difficult to cut neat, attractive looking slices. Not a problem if you just want to eat a large bar of very good marzipan but not brilliant if you want to slice and add to a plate of sweet treats. Doesn't bother my son though so I have to hide them!

Other brands have better taste and texture.
I'd hoped to like these better than I did as they're lower in sugar than the other brand I tried. Unfortunately I didn't like the texture and flavour so won't be buying again.

BBest Marzipan in the World!
Lubeck marzipan is used by Carstens inside their 200gm chocolate covered marzipan loaf.Simply the best in the World! The chocolate MUST be plain to avoid contamination of the fine almond paste by milk.
