It works!
I’ll confess - I actually bought this for a relative (human!), when it became difficult to find regular first aid thermometers at the start of the COVID19 crisis. It is indistinguishable from a regular one apart from the packaging. Arrived quickly, packaging a bit basic but then again this is a totally functional item.

Not worth it
Finally got the thermometer and then when I opened it and switched it on it bleep and told me the battery was no. No surprise as this usually happens with any purchase that has a battery. Found a battery to replace it and lo and behold it’s still saying the same thing. How am I meant to take the temperature of something when all I get is ‘lo’
