Finally
My goldendoodle was on a Perscription diet (Hills I/D ) which worked great but but the vet said to try weaning him off it now that he’s a year old. Every dog food I tried gave him diarrhea, including Farmers Dog. BUT NOT NULO. They have a probiotic and prebiotic built into the food. It’s perfect. No more messy cans and heavy shipment. PLUSE Nulo is rated a solid 5 star on dog food advisors (my bible). Go online a get the truth about any pet food or treat you are currently using. My dog is over 60 lbs and still growing so it’s not cheap, but well worth it.

Love this dog food
I swear by this dog food. My dog is very picky but no matter what she always eats this freeze dried brand. I have been buying for a few years. We feed our dog cooked chicken and the add the hard and the freeze dried Nulo and she gobbles it up. Sometimes I throw a few freeze dried into her bowl and when I turn around it is gone. And she is very healthy. No bad smell.

Fresh and stinky like our dog loves!
Can’t find these hardly ever so thought I would order on Amazon. Kind of spendy but our dog is older and we have to be careful what we feed her. She loves this food. Thanks for great service.

Dogs love it.
Use as topper over dry. Will mix with warm water to bring out the aroma and to give moisture to meal. Dogs love it . Will occasionally use as training treat. Will always wash hands after use and clean bowels separately from household dishes due to raw ingredients. Little pricey but boys are worth it .

I am very impressed with Nulo
I have a 14 year old female Shih Tzu. She is nearly perfect in my eyes except for the fact that she has always been an insanely picky eater. She rejects 95% of all foods I've ever tried to feed her over the years. I always research the food I give her, but she usually rejects even the most highly rated foods I've set before her. She loved the puppy food she was on for her first year; but when I had to switch her to adult food at the age of one year, that's when I found out what an outrageously picky girl I had on my hands. I have found a wet food she is very happy to eat in all flavors and a few freeze dried foods that she really likes. I have always given my cats and dogs a diet of both wet and dry food. Any time Sassy likes something, I throw a celebration party. Recently I somehow just happened to stumble upon an article about Nulo and did some on-line research about it. It received a 5-Star rating from a web site I depend on for analyzing and rating dog food products. So, I held my breath and ordered this Nulo product for her. She absolutely loved it - immediately. I nearly fainted from sheer joy! This product is more expensive than the 5-star freeze dried food she is currently eating, so I will have to use the Nulo as a treat rather than her regular meal time food. Even at that, I'm thrilled to have found another freeze dried she really loves and that received high marks for quality when I researched it. This is definitely an item I will be ordering again. If Sassy likes it, that's the highest recommendation I could possibly give to anybody. There is one suggestion I have for Nulo - the expiration date is very difficult to read since it's printed in tiny dots instead of solid lines like everything else on the bag. Why make it so difficult to read? It needs to be larger and printed like regular text - not in tiny squished up dots. Seriously, Nulo, you need to change that!

She devoured the stuff, but I'm not Donald Trump
I convinced myself that freeze dried raw was the best way to go for my new Great Dane, but when the bag arrived, I realized my math was waaaaaay off. I hadn't really put ounces and pounds into perspective. This food wasn't just a little bit more expensive. Not 10% more. Not 20% more. Not 50% more. No, 1600% more expensive. One thousand, six hundred percent, and that's compared to a pretty good kibble that ain't cheap on its own. (My last Great Dane lived 12 years on a steady diet of that kibble. It's not junk.)Gadzooks! The dog loved the stuff, and ate it up like candy. The downside of that is that the product is kind of worthless as a kibble topper, if the goal is to get the dog to eat kibble with more enthusiasm. This stuff is like icing on a cake. You feed a dog a bowl of kibble topped with this, and the dog eats the freeze dried icing and ignores the kibble cake. "Daddy! I wantseses more icinging please! I cute! Giveses me more icings! I so cuuute!"So the whole thing is kind of a failure from a practical standpoint. Great product if you're Donald Trump, or have a little dog. I can't say anything bad about the product, but it's priced out of my reach.I've been doing some spitballing here, and it would be cheaper to buy one feeder cow every four months, slaughter it, process it, and feed that to my dog. That would literally be CHEAPER than this product. So yeah, um, I guess maybe I'll try bacon grease as a kibble topper next time. Or see if I can find a kibble my dog eats with as much passion as my last dog ate the current kibble.Alas.She sure did snarf it up though, and it's probably more nutritiously balanced than a regular diet of slaughter beef. If somebody wants to donate $15,000 a year so my really cute dog can have nommy noms, look us up!

A very enticing food topper
My dog eats a mix of two dry foods consisting of lamb, chicken and rice, and is quite happy with that. But crumbling a few of these freeze-dried food pellets on top adds a bonus of salmon and turkey. It makes him excited about his meals. 👍🐾😊

My dog loves it.
I don’t think one could ever say freeze dried food is ever a good value because freeze dried food is expensive. However, from the pricing I’ve done Nulo is more reasonable than some others. I mix the Nulo with another dog food that has hard kibble and freeze dried pieces in it as well. My dog goes through and picks the Nulo pieces out first and then goes back to eat the other and my dog really likes his other food but the Nulo pieces are apparently unbelievably good. The pieces are large. I have a twenty pound dog and I often think, I could break those in half but I don’t. I like how you don’t have to add water to the dried pieces, it makes it very convenient.

Expensive. One dog would not eat it. Other dog only ate it when there was no alternative
Cost is prohibitive if you have more than one small dog

Huge waste of money
First feeding made my dog vomit. After that she wouldn't eat it. It is disappointing to pay so much for it and it is not returnable. Even Pet Smart will take food back if a dog doesn't like it. This was an expensive experiment and am not happy with the policy.
