Birkenstock Men's EVA Arizona Sandal

These are my favorite Birkenstocks. They’re extremely comfortable and I wear them everywhere lasting as well.

I am a cool guy. Seriously. You want creds? I have backpacked in the Amazon jungle, crossed the Great Karoo on the Blue Train, paddled and portaged following Voyageur directional petroglyphs through the Quetico wilderness, and sipped Singapore Slings under belt-driven ceiling fans in Raffles' Long Bar. And that's just the beginning, amigo. I am the kind of guy who doesn't necessarily believe Portland OR is the storied Gehenna, but I'll bet you can see it from there.I would not have been caught dead wearing Birkenstock sandals.And I've worn 'em all. Indian sandals with a toe strap and stinking of patchouli in the summer of '67, recycled tire sandals, flip-flops, gonzo sport sandals... I've even cut my own Jesus Weejuns with a razor blade and left the penny in the slot.Birkenstock EVAs are the best sandals I've ever worn. First, they are made from a tough material that, trust me, does not occur naturally anywhere in the Cosmos. They are not your Fair Trade, organic, artisanal, free range hemp sandals. These babies are pure engineering. And they fit true to size. They're comfortable on a wide foot... I'm an E width. And the arch support is perfect for flat feet; I should know, because my feet are so flat I've been stalked by duck hunters after leaving barefoot tracks on soft ground.So, if you're cool, you need not avoid these Birkenstocks like the Bubonic Plague lest you be marked for life as an untergeek or Pajama Boy. You can buy these sandals and wear them in comfort, and with pride.

Great sandal! Just don’t make the same sizing mistake I made. I bought a pair of the cheaper EVAs a while back and got multiple sizes and ended sticking with the 43 or 10-10.5, and they fit great! I couldn’t remember the size and it was worn off of the EVAs I had, so I went with my normal shoe size on pair of regular Birks 11-11.5, but, they’re a bit to big. Too much room in the front and back. I couldn’t order multiple pairs, because it was too expensive and these were the ones on sale. Please make sure you try these on in store or go with a size down.

Heard these tend to run a hair large. I wear between a 10 and 11 - 10 fit very well for me.All plastic, as advertised, and from a single molded piece. Extremely light weight, but (odd to say this for a sandal) doesn't breath at all, so wears hot on my foot.The molded in toe lines (for the big toe) land right where my big toe lands. I suspect it will break in over time but isn't particularly comfortable out of the box with the ridge right under my toe.Not disappointed up front - I hope they wear well and last long enough to live up to the brand name.

My husband needs something in the house that is comfortable on this feet and used to wear the leather regular Birkenstocks. He is so hard on shoes because of the way he walks that we are always buying Birks and specially made sneakers. So when I saw these at around $25 we decided to try them. As long as one thinks of them as slippers or beach or gardening sandals, you will be very happy. I have many, many pairs of Birkenstocks. It is a brand I trust and here in AZ we must have sandals! The Arizona model just happens to be the most versatile, so I have lots of them.

Bought these for dorm shower shoes and working at a beach, but ended wearing them all summer, as well as my go to slip on shoes. Can wear these with socks or barefoot and they’re 100% waterproof. Best support out of any shoe I’ve owned and good toe grip and hell cup so they don’t slip easily (unless wet). These are the ultimate summer shoes and I will buy another as soon as these wear out. I would recommend buying 2 sizes and returning if you’re unsure because I initially bought ones too big and had to return

Always love a good Birk. Fit great...hard to slide on because of the floppy suede straps...and I foresee the straps stretching out quickly. But, still love em
