Of all the Amla products I have seen, this is the one that tested the best using bio-kinesiology to determine quality. I am an experienced practitioner, working in conjunction with a licensed acupuncturist and we routinely evaluate products that we recommend for clients using energy testing.Gooseberries -or amla, in Ayurveda, purports to help support a low platelet situation and we purchased this brand for a friend who has been struggling to raise his platelets without the use of steroids. His doctor agrees that using steroids should be a last resort. Hopefully the next blood test will show improvement. Time will tell and we will update the review.

Having used Amla regularly for a number of years, I've tried a variety of products - capsules, loose, organic, etc. This is one of the weakest. There are others - slightly more expensive on Amazon which are much more effective. Unfortunately, however, some of the best are no longer available - anywhere. I will not purchase this product again. Accidentally reordered the wrong (bad!) Amla. BEWARE: This stuff has multiple additives which are NOT listed in description/nor shown in pics. Junk.

I wanted a food based source of Vitamin C, so I gave this a whirl. I've noticed that my skin is brighter, and I think this is deterring the grays along my hairline from coming in as fast. Definitely a plus!

I was taking the powder with water for over a year and I hated it - it tastes so foul. But I continued as it truly does lower your cholesterol . However, I discovered these capsules and YAY no horrible taste - they are perfect and so easy to swallow. Vegan friendly and organic without the yucky taste. It's a win win.

Just read the reviews of amla and it's history in Dr. Greger's web site. He only quotes valid science in his work. I can't vouch for this fruit improving my lipids, because I am still on a statin, but my numbers are good. What I can't prove one way or the other is that for several years I has frequent episodes of irregular heart beat, probably PAC's, and a few months after starting amla bid, I realized that the irregular beats had gone away. I can't for sure credit the amla, but I don't know what else to attribute it to. It's purported defense against cancer and other ailments will keep me on this fruit for as long as I can buy it.

Tried this brand because I was spending more on lesser mg in other Amla fruit products. This one really helps with strengthening my immune system and resisting colds, being susceptible to sinusitis. Really works and at the best price I've found.

I chose Amla partly because it is supposed to detox you from heavy metals. I have heavy metal poisoning because of an unethical world class surgeon who took money from a foreign country I am sure you can guess which one to put toxic metal in me. I almost died.Amla is supposed to help you detox from heavy metals. But I read on the label when I got it that it has lead in it.This product is garbage! I am trying to get better not worse!
