These were purchased for an elderly diabetic ,edema ,osteoarthritis person .He said the comfort is amazing !The slippers are very well made the Velcro flap helps to adjust when swollen ! Would purchase again !

My husband says these are comfortable. I was worried about his walking on them for his ankles turn in, flat feet, and very puffed. But the heel is sturdy enough to make it work for him. Some days his instep is really puffed and it is quite hart to get it to close. The good news is that just a bit of connection with the Velcro and it sticks. But wish I could find shoes that are made for really, really fat feet from diabetes or edema.

After trying several slippers for my husband's swollen feet I finally found one that actually fits! The velcro patch is wide enough to accommodate different foot widths. As a caretaker, the open toe makes it easy for me to help him get them on and off easily. I'm very impressed with the sole which really has a slip resistant bottom which is so important for elderly people who just kind of shuffle their feet. Also, the heel offers great support unlike most slippers made entirely of memory foam. These slippers are a little more expensive than most but, the quality is totally worth it!

Although these were a bit pricey on our budget, they are well worth the cost. My husband's toes were getting raw from rubbing against the ends of his slippers when he does the Parkinson's shuffle. These open toed slippers provide heal support, and the large velcro tab is easy to fasten to give him a snug fit. Since he hates people messing with his feet, the velcro tabs make it so easy to get them off and on his feet. It's too bad there was only one pair left when I ordered these. The only reason I didn't rate with a 5 is that I wish they had some more arch support.

My feet are so swollen that I've been wearing slippers for almost a year, even out and about when I'm able to do so. Was excited to find something I could actually get around my foot. These are a great idea but there are two important issues. 1) Sadly the odor is horrific even after a week of airing. Smells like a 3 month old gym sock that's been used daily and sealed in a plastic bag after each use. Oh, it was sealed in a plastic bag ! If I hadn't been sitting down when the bag opened it would probably have knocked me down - I recoiled a couple of feet. To say the "Smell is pretty bad." is an understatement. If the shipping package hadn't already been destroyed these would be going back. 2) These size 11's are ok for length and width, but I need more length on the velcro straps. My insteps are that swollen.

I bought these slippers for my 85 yr. old father who has had diabetes for over 50 yrs. and he ABSOLUTELY LOVES THE SLIPPERS!! I'm so happy for him (and me because now I can stop slipper searching - YEAH)!! The slippers are so comfortable, dad can wear them all day. They also provide him excellent walking support. And, with the VELCRO design, putting them on and taking them off is super easy for me. The doctors and I have been doing wound care for both his big toes for months now to hopefully avoid amputation. Anyone who has gone through foot care because of their diabetes knows it can be extremely painful. I was at my wits end trying to find a pair of slippers that would not irritate his wounds. I tried buying over-sized slippers, cutting the ends off of other slippers, etc., only to have each pair fail to do the job. Thank you for these slippers - they are just the ticket to helping dad's wounds heal (at least not irritate them). I need look no further for slippers (just don't stop making them please :).

I looked everywhere for a shoe that would fit my mom and be somewhat cute. Her feet swell differently depending on the day. Perfect fit with the Velcro and I never told her they were a mens shoe. Let that be our secret.

My husband had peripheral neuropathy in his feet already but was in hospital and rehab for a heart attack. I found these shoes on Amazon and because they are extra wide plus with velcro I thought they might be ideal with his temporary added discomfort and swelling with edema. He was able to walk with a walker much better right away with these shoes. They have a back and hard rubber soles which gave him traction and support. The PT people were impressed and asked where I got them and went on Amazon to investigate them. My husband's neighbor in the hospital who does have diabetes wanted the shoes and ordered them as well. Now my husband is home and the shoes are great for the house and he doesn't require them to be so very wide and can adjust them with the velcro. The sizes correlate to an individual's shoe size and not merely S, M or L. Highest marks to these shoes--the PT people were so pleased that I discovered them.

Comfortable, easy to fit sandals. They are not easy to find. These definitely ticked all the box’s. Plus seller was very approachable and more than happy to help. Well done!!!
