Worth the read.
Very slow build up setting up the story, but the pay off is very worth it. I was skeptical at first but it’s well written and makes you want more. Character development is 10/10, but also slow going. Hang in there, it’s worth it.

Excellent Progression Story, Always Moving Forward
Great story of progression and self improvement and how if you want to go far, go with friends. Classic underdog story but full of real people rather than heroes vs villains. Somehow manages a huge cast of characters while never getting samey or mixing people up. Lots of perspectives and fantastic world building. Manages multiple storylines magnificently. The whole series is fantastic. New favorite author.

Great Books! Clean.
I really enjoy a good fantasy series but sometimes they can have content that makes it so I can't recommend them to others. This series I have recommended a lot because, not only does it have a great storyline and is well written, but it also is pretty clean overall. The series hasn't had any swearing or inappropriate scenes. It does contain violence. The writing is very well done. I felt like the first book gets off to a bit of a weird start, and I wasn't sold on it until I got to the end. By the end of the first book, I was interested enough to go on and by the end of the second book, I was hooked. Will Wight has done a fantastic job with his character development and his world-building. It's great. I recommend this series.

Fascinating power growth story
I like the various plot lines seen.I do not like the mysteries (they are not bad...I just am anxious to know more!)I look forward to the remaining stories.

This book is 5 stars for lovers of Power Fantasy Anime
This book series is five stars for those who enjoy easy reads with quick power scaling, fun characters, and interwoven maguffins. I really enjoy it. It's not going to be for everyone, this is a book that will absolutely hinge on taste. If you like anime like Naruto or MHA for the powerless main character becoming strong, or like Hunter x Hunter or Yu Yu Hakusho for the fun adventures and dangerous characters, or Fullmetal Alchemist for the creative and all-encompassing magic system, you might enjoy this book a lot.

FUN
A wonderful distraction, there aren't enough hours in a day handle it, couldn't put it down and it ruined my sleep for a week. Bravo! It nails all the elements for an epic fantasy with a good mix of action, cleverness and humour. Characters are likable, relatable and true.To nitpick, i had a problem understanding the scale. Power levels of "enemies" and characters in general aren't consistent as the definition of how strong each level is changes from book to book and becomes ambiguous. I mean if "iron" is already so strong that a normal person has no chance of winning, it becomes difficult to imagine how strong the next 10 levels are. Besides that, all characters seem to think the same way, almost like they're all the same character in different bodies. No paradigm variety between them. However, the characters are certainly not boring and while no one can accuse it of being mature, the story is fun mix of action, fantasy and adventure. I loved it!

Amazing
This series is amazing. The first book, unsouled, does a very good job of building the world and introducing the characters. The interludes section was off putting but the main storyline is amazing.

Uma série incrível
Os personagens tem personalidade, as lutas muito boa, sistema de poder completo, poucos furos de roteiro, plot deveras interessantes, e para finalizar em 3 livros nenhuma mulher foi objetificada. Preciso falar mais?

THIS IS GOOD STUFF>
This series of books is absolutely enthralling to read. I read somewhere that if you are dissatisfied or bored with reality then read a fantasy book, and I can thoroughly recommend reading this trilogy. If you do then you will certainly want to read the follow-up books. Will Wight has almost everything in these books; magic, good character development, excellent world-building, coming of age, swordplay, all kinds of action, different worlds, and in all just great fantasy writing. I am happily embarked on the next trilogy, but I wanted to write a positive review for Will before I get lost again in his splendidly imagined world. Five stars are the maximum vote allowed and it's not enough.

The most I've ever enjoyed any written series
I've read a lot of books, but none have given me the pure childlike excitement that Cradle does. Every book is better than the last, and it's just edge of your seat action and hype. Give this a try if you like to feel empty inside after you're caught up on a series.

So this is Western Cultivation...
I've always enjoyed fantasy novels and that sense of the protagonist repeatedly facing escalating challenges and more or less getting through the other side, but always developing. This series is no different, but apparently by having a formalism to the development (there are distinct 'magical' levels, where one moves from copper to iron to jade, etc.) it becomes cultivation. And the author's from the western hemisphere, so it's western cultivation...The author has created a plausible (and ambitious!) universe, with the plot including a huge cosmic plot, whilst focusing on the cultivation of our driven underdog. When reading, I didn't find myself tripping up over plot holes, jarring conversations or random new characters. Altogether it felt like the prose was nice and tight. It's also wryly humorous and frequently brought a smile to my face. Compared with other fantasy and science fiction novels, the plot, behaviours, characters, etc., are driven by the cultivation theme, so it's not so expansive in its description/creation of the world (deliberately not so, I suspect). Not a bad thing; I enjoyed the focus.Overall, I found the pace was excellent -- I devoured all the books available. Many reviews say the first book was a bit slow, though I didn't find that. For me it provided a new an interesting grounding for the character and the world. Less about getting to the next level, which I think is possibly what many people enjoy in these kinds of books.Overall, I thoroughly recommend it!
