Very sturdy brackets and easy to operate. The shelf is only as sturdy as the mounting screws so, I would use better screws. The ones they provide don't look like they could support 150lbs like they're stating.

These folding shelf brackets work great. I bought them to create a fold-down shelf for my Casio keyboard. I mounted the keyboard to a sheet of plywood and attached it to these brackets, which I fastened to the studs in the wall with long coarse thread construction screws. Now, when I'm not using the keyboard, it folds down and out of the way. The brackets are heavy duty and everything is very secure.
