DC Cover Girls: Black Canary by Joëlle Jones Statue

I collect a few figurines and thought I would add this to the collection. I like Joelle Jones as an atist and read Birds of Prey so enjoy the Black Canary character. It was a real surprise to open the box and see how nice this figure is. One of the best in my collection, superbly detailed. I cant fault it. It is always a pleasure to open the box and the statue exceeds your expectations. This is a great piece.

My wife is a Black Canary fan and feels that THIS representation is the truest to the character. She is active, attractive, and combat-ready without being overly sexualized. The statue is the same- sturdy and well balanced. It has enough detail to be beautiful without becoming too "precious" or fine to feel comfortable displaying.

I feel that this statue is under rated, it’s a great pose and capture black canary’s personality, plus it’s beautiful and her outfit has a lot of detail

Beautiful figure based on a drawing by one of my favorite artists. I only wish BC had been given a more active pose, like the Batgirl figure from the same series. Still excellent though.

Really loved this statue. Looks great, received a perfect one. Reminds me of my future wife, fingers crossed.

I like the overall design, but there are some potential QC issues. Mine arrived with a chipped left sleeve (near the shoulder). The left thumbnail had too much paint. Also, the hair gives the impression of being one big blob rather than individuated strands.
