Strike King Potbelly Spinnerbait/White, 0.089 (PB38C-12)

I used this for a day and all was going well until the main spinner broke of leaving the whole thing bent and with little to no action. The cause of the brake was a small pike.

I'm a big fan of these spinnerbaits. The extra weight allows you to fish them on the bottom as well as the middle and top of the water. These also stand up to the fierce and destructive bite of snakeheads and bow fins.

I bought this spinner bait because I wanted a spinner bait with the single blade as pictured. When I received it, the the spinner bait has a leaf blade attached too. This is not what I wanted. Instead of returning the item, I will attempt to modify it to my personal specifications. I was very disappointed in what I received. The picture needs to be updated to what exactly is being sold.I also checked the product number from the order and compared to the one I received and they are the same product number but most certainly not the same product as pictured...highly disappointed!!

I just got this lure on Friday the 18th and caught two fish on it today the 20th.It works good. You can rip it, slow toll it and work any part of the water column. It cast well and retrieves in a straight line. Even though the hook was really dull out of the package it managed to catch two fish. I sharpened it when I got home.Good ball bearing, good snap ring, good finish on the head and the skirt was just okay. Honestly I expected a little more from a Strike King lure. This was the first one I've ever bought but I do own several of their soft plastic baits that I really like. The spinnerbait didn't look like much but I'm sure it's going to perform just fine. The only thing I would change about it would be instead of an R bend for the line connection I would have a closed twisted eye.I'm going to go ahead and buy the black one too.

Bought this for my boyfriend, first cast and he had a northern! These northern love this thing!! Especially with the chartreuse color! So far he has caught about 7 northerns with this lure! Literally 4 in one day! Get this!!!

Caught a 5 lb bass on first try.
