KONGCoreStrength Ball - Long Lasting Dog Dental and Chew Toy - for Medium Dogs

I thought this would be great for my dog that's a massive chewer but it only lasted a week. Good price but if your dog is a chewer it won't last. I'm giving four stars because I realize that my dog is part alligator. Lol

I have a yellow lab that loves to chew up her dog toys. I was hoping this ball would hold up to her aggressive chewing but only lasted a few months. The West Paw ball we still have has lasted four years and is still solid. There is no comparison there. This ball would be great for non aggressive dog chewers.

I have a 10 month old Sheltie/Rat Terrier who's mission in life is to chew everything he can wrap his jaws around. He has destroyed all his furry toys, de-stuffing them & turning them into rags in days. I've had to sew some of his favorites several times, performing "surgery" on them upwards of 10 times. I've bought him other Kong products, including the tennis balls...which he's torn the yellow covering off of it & made it bald (the squeaker still squeaks though). When I saw the reviews on this bone, I hesitated from buying it, as I saw the pictures of the chunks torn off of the bone by other aggressive chewers. But, I liked the name-brand, and I liked the ridges on it where I could spread a little peanut butter on it for a treat. After I bought it, he wasn't that excited about it. It sat on the floor for over a month. Other than him licking off the peanut butter, he let it sit. The last couple of days now, it's become one of his favorite things to chew. He has it under the table & gnaws on it several times a day. I keep an eye on it to make sure he's not chewing pieces off of it. Every day now, I put it in his bed where he naps. He'll chew on it for several minutes, then either leave it for later, or carry it under the table, where he'll continue to chew on it. I'm hoping this will now be his go-to whenever he's in the mood to chew, thus saving our carpet, wires, fabrics, cushions, and anything else that catches his fancy. I had German Shepherds that didn't chew this much. He's a machine! I'll make sure I get a picture of it before he destroys it to show that little dogs can stand with the big dogs in the business of chewing & destroying. For now, I'm very happy with it in keeping him occupied for more than 10 minutes.

Did not hold up to a puppy! We have a 6 month old puppy and she has sporadically chewed on this 3x so far. Today she grabbed it and within 5 minutes had several pieces chewed off. Thank goodness I was near her and grabbed it from her.It may hold up well to pups that play with it and are not aggressive chewers. It made it through the 2 first times she tossed it around and mouthed it but she has become more aggressive with her chewing and destroyed it today!

Survived an hour … until he got serious 🙈 was cute and colorful while it lasted!Customer service reached out to me and refunded the purchase of the toy. I did not contact them or ask for a refund-was very much appreciated though!

Got this bone for my puppy who is a super chewer who chews through most “puppy rated” toys and he loves it! It’s still holding strong after a few months and tons of use and no pieces have broken off or deteriorated. Another great KONG product

I had high hopes for this bone for my nine month old chihuahua mix, but within a few days he was chewing chunks off the green end caps, so I had to take it away from him.

Should this bone last more than 2 hours play and chewing time ? The end was gone and down to the black center.

This is our 2nd one on 12 months out of all the ones that are out there this seems to be the best one, not to costly.

La description "jouet dentaire à mâcher longue durée" est très optimiste. Si la partie bleue est solide, la partie verte s'use assez rapidement, et mon chiot Boston terrier ( pas la mâchoire la plus puissante des canidés....) n'a pas mis longtemps à s'en rendre compte. Les morceaux verts qui se détachent peuvent certainement être dangereux si ingérés par le chien.
