Solved my problem. Previously, someone butchered the door to the point I couldn't put a deadbolt on. This works perfect and is very strong. Looks good too.

Measurements were right on and this fit my door perfectly.

Strengthened my door
Good product ordered 3 similar items but the rest were not wide enough to fit over my metal doors. Likewise this one will be to wide for most wooden doors so make sure to measure the door thickness. If you got that measurement right this is a perfect product to add strength to a door before an incident occurs or to reinforce a split door.
