Good looking moc but lining doesn't last!
I wrote a review for these shortly after I bought them and thought they looked great, were high quality, and would last a long time. Unfortunately, after wearing them for about six months,, the shearling lining on the heel bed has completely worn down! As you can see from the picture the heel bed is now shiny and no fur remains. I would expect this from a less expensive moc that has a synthetic shearling, but not from these that were more expensive. I'm very disappointed that they lasted for only one winter season!

Comfortable. Warm. Beautiful. Provides support.
Much prettier in person. Feminine, not stuffy or old looking at all. Could really be worn anywhere because they are sturdy like shoes. Could easily run to the store, etc. But I wouldn’t want to get them dirty they are so beautiful. But I’ll take they’re advice and order some NEVER WET before wearing them. Already ordered another pair in distressed white or something. Ordered a size up in case I want to wear thick socks. However, I’m not sure it’s necessary to get a larger size because one review says the fur tamps down after a while. I wear 7. That’s what I ordered on these and the fit is perfect but can only wear a thin sock. I just love them.

Updating Review-Returning
Bought these to replace another pair of Bearpaw slippers, slightly different style, but same size. Out of the box, these seemed a little “short”/snug. Hoped a few days of wear would have resolved that. These are sturdier than the ones I replaced. The sole is stiffer and thicker and the inside is more padded. I very much like the ties which are mostly ribbon, compared to the others that were leather and never stayed tied. I typically wear a size 8 and that’s what I ordered. They felt generally true to size, but became increasingly more uncomfortable in the toe box, where they were too short. I think a size up would be too large. I am returning and am being charged shipping to do so.

Ver comfortable and soooo warm
I wear an 8.5 shoe. I bought the same pair last year in a size 9 because 8 was sold out. In a few weeks the fluffy lining flattened and they were too big. This year I bought an 8. They are a perfect fit without socks and I expect the lining to flatten in a few weeks and I can wear them with socks. I’ve read reviews from people complaining about the lining flattening. They must be living in that alternate universe where 100+ lbs of pressure can be applied to fluffy polyester (day in and day out) without flattening the fabric. I live in the REAL world where there are Laws of Physics that unfortunately cause wear and tear. These slippers are well made and hold up to acceptable wear and tear. Last years size 9 are fine with no wear on the soles and no damage to the seams. There just a little big now.

Ehh.... not really great at all
They're warm ill give them that.. however.. for not having them a month yet.. there is a lot of loss to the fluff inside the shoe.. and today I noticed that the sole is pulling away... I owned a different pair of bare paws before and had them for almost 2 years before they were gonners.. these I'll be lucky if they last me til spring for the price id have hoped something a little better.. my cheaper ones from Walmart held up better.. honestly if you're considering just skip em..

Soles separate from uppers
I am hard on my slippers, no doubt. I wear them almost all the time I am at home, except in the hottest weather, and I wear them in the house and backyard. I've had mocs where the stitching separated or holes wear between the top and the sole, but I have never had mocs where the soles separate from the uppers and flap around, even when they were a couple years old. (I've also never paid 50 bucks for mocassins before.)I've had these for less than a year, and while the tops are still intact and the treads are good, one sole has come almost completely off (to the point where it is unsafe to walk in them) and the other has split from the upper on one side. The leather and rubber are good quality; apparently the problem is with the glue. Not sure if I will replace thes or try another brand.

The last pair was better
I’ve had two different pairs of these wonderful slippers. They’ve got an actual sole so you can walk outside in them, are super comfy and warm. However, my last pair lasted way longer than this pair. I purchased these about 3 months ago. So far one of the sole liners has come out, and doesn’t feel quite right anymore after putting it back, and laces on both shoes have come undone which is just extra annoying because no matter how I tie them back up they come undone again. I would consider these a little more on the expensive side when it comes to slippers so I’d like the money to be worth it. This time, it wasn’t.

Super Warm, runs a bit small
I really like these slippers overall. My feet tend to get really cold and these slippers keep them toasty warm. Overall, they are comfortable and the sole is great for running outside with the dog or to get the mail. The pair I have is about 1/2 size small - not so small that I will return them, but I do wish I had ordered up a size then they would be perfect.
