Greatest. Smell. Ever.
This product smells incredible. Other than the smell, I cant notice any difference to my hair, but I do feel more refreshed.

It's Okay, But Expensive
This is an okay spray for quick and easy hair styling. It's easy to use - just a couple of quick pumps and away you go. Once it's been on for a while, it does have a bit of a cooling effect on your head, helping it feel nice and fresh. The scent isn't too nice, it has an artificial 'hairspray' smell to it that isn't so pleasant or natural feeling. The hold isn't too strong either, so it won't last all day without needing a refresh. At this price, it really needed to be better.

Going back to my roots
The SEB MAN range is definitely aiming for the high end of the market, and if you have the money to spend and care about what you put on your hair, you can rest assured that this is at least a good quality product. As with any heath and beauty product that promises reducing wrinkles or stimulating hair growth, your own personal experience may vary from others and it may take time before you see any real benefits. This SEB MAN hair tonic doesn't make any promises it can't keep. It promises nothing more that "denser feeling" hair, but there's no doubt that it has the ingredients to stimulate and sooth the scalp and perhaps lead to healthier thicker hair. I've seen no evidence of that, but it does take good care of the scalp - an area of sensitive skin that is rarely properly looked after - and that can only be beneficial. As a primer then for adding other products, this does seem to help and make styling easier and give better definition. The smell is pleasant too, suitable for a man to wear and not be overpowering. It's expensive, but if you really want to look after your hair, you need to start at the roots and scalp, and this could definitely help.

A refined scent with residual thickening
Go for this bottle of Seb Man to add a touch of class to your man care routine. It will give sensitive noses (female, usually) something to think about and add a sense of je ne sais quoi; I've had a couple of remarks and that is surprising given that hair products don't usually smell potent enough to elicit such observations. On the thickening side I'm feeling it too. This is for men who are heading into pattern baldness with a plan and a dinner date but the 20 odd pound price is just a little bit cheeky for such a niche product.

Gorgeous fragrance!
It is some time since a hair tonic was last used and it was then a formulation that contained certain oils but somewhat easier to apply. This "SEB MAN The Cooler Refreshing Leave-In Tonic 100 ml" shares some of the same ingredients, pepper (which colour is not recalled) and bergamot oil both featured in the older product with other mostly forgotten ingredients although geranium oil may have been another a probable. This also includes guarana extract which is a known ingredient of some shampoos and other hair products so not out-of-place here. Bergamot has been long-used as a perfume for skin and hair and there are other plant or floral extracts that fill the list of ingredients. The pink pepper and gurana are expected to gently stimulate the scalp and hair follicles when massaged into the scalp, the pepper also adding a hint of piquancy to the fragrance of bergamot. It is intended to be sprayed directly onto the scalp and that information is on the can. The tonic is very watery and it is consequently less easy to judge how many pumps to use - it will depend on the length and volume of hair. This comes in a pump dispenser which is easy to use and to dispense a suitable quantity. The tonic should not be expected to show dramatic results after a few uses but, when used daily as it can be, it should show some improvement of hair and scalp condition within weeks. Once applied, it should be left on and not rinsed or shampooed out unless otherwise scheduled. If nothing more, the wafts of fragrance that follow the wearer will intrigue those who sense them; a few admiring comments followed very quickly.

Premium Hair Tonic With An Added Boost!
Hair tonic is a traditional grooming product that's currently making a comeback, which I for one welcome. The stuff that our parents or grandparents might have worn tended to have an oily finish, and you only need think of the hairstyles on the hit tv series 'Mad Men' to get an idea of how it looked. This modern take from Seb Man still contains nourishing oils for your hair, but in a lower concentration that manages to leave my hair looking healthy without it appearing or feeling oily. I'm impressed!I find the best way of applying this tonic is directly to my head, via the pump cap. Massaging it in leaves my scalp feeling cool and tingly, and it even lets me do a bit of styling. I find it does quite well at adding body to my hair, and I can even get it looking tufty without the need of other product. I notice Seb Man also do a sculpting clay so if I needed extra hold I'd order that so the fragrances matched.Talking of which, this tonic smells wonderful! It's a lovely woody, spicy scent that manages to mix tradition with sophistication. My big tip for you here is add it to your hair in the morning, not late at night! Why? Well, it contains both caffeine and guarana. Both are powerful stimulants, and I find it wakes me up quite successfully, in the same way as a strong cup of coffee.I'd like to have awarded this product five stars, but I'm going to have to withhold one as it contains parabens, which I normally try to avoid where possible. You can research this hotly debated topic online, and make up your own mind. In all other respects though, this is a great hair tonic that makes me look good and smell great. I like it.

Not impressed
I can't really work out what this is for. It's a thin, slightly milky looking liquid, and I honestly can't detect much of a fragrance. As for a tingling senstaion – nope, I just don't get it.Price – way too high, even t the current (very slightly discounted) price of £22.80
