Above all it is comfortable for babies making them feel safe and secure at all times, even outdoors. Chassis: The handle (E) is adjustable to 3 positions for ease of use. To open the pushchair, press the buttons (D) on both sides of the handle and raise until it clicks into the desired position on the dial (X) 1, 2 or 3; raise the levers (C) on both sides of the handle while lifting the chassis up and pressing the rear lock (J) down until the pushchair is completely open. The pushchair can be folded with the seat in the forward facing position. To close the pushchair, press the buttons (D) on both sides of the handle and turn the handle down until the indicator shows the locked position and pull up the handle (R) until the pushchair locks closed. When closed, the Tuo takes up little space and stands upright on its own. The TUO chassis has removable rotating front wheels (P) which can also be locked for uneven terrain using the lever (T). The rear wheels (Q) feature a sprung wheel system (K) and an extremely practical braking device (O). There is a generous basket (N) with two zips for security. Inserting the seat on the frameView larger Pushchair seat The pushchair seat is suitable from birth to three years and is reversible, forward or rearward facing. To fit the seat insert the connectors (U) with the seat facing as desired into the slots on the chassis (V) and press until they click into position. To remove the seat, press button (B) on both sides and remove the seat by lifting it. The footrest (M) is adjustable by pressing the button (L) on each side. The backrest can be adjusted to multiple positions using the handle (S) on the back of the seat. There is a 5-point safety harness (F) with buckle (G). The gate opening bumper bar (H) can be partially opened or removed by pressing a button on each side. There is an adjustable hood (A) with a viewing window (I) and it extends to become a sunshade. The apron and raincover are included. A carrycot and Group 0 car seat, which fit on the chassis, are also available separately, they can be attached to the chassis using a special adaptor for stability and safety. The original idea for the TUO was to produce a lightweight and technologically advanced umbrella folding pushchair that was robust, compact and easy to use. Foppapedretti is well known in Italy for manufacturing nursery furniture and household accessories and has a lot of experience in design but for this project some outside partners were needed and so worked closely with one of the most advanced manufacturers of strollers in the world to produce the Tuo. The Tuo was launched initially in 2011 and rapidly became of the best selling pushchairs in the Italian market. Once established in European markets, Foppapedretti decided that it would also be successful in the Great Britain and has now produced versions to comply with British flammability regulations.
