Upon arrival, I am very happy with this product. The matte black finish has a rubbery like texture which gives the bathroom a chic, modern, high end vibe. The matte black color effortlessly blends with all of my other matte black bathroom fixtures.Both pieces seem rather durable and seem to be built to withstand moisture, which is very important since we are located near the beach.Overall, I would definitely purchase this product again.

If it were not for a few issues, these would have got 5 stars without a doubt. First and foremost they look great, and feel nice with the rubberized coating that feels soft. The metal feels solid enough. Beautiful addition to our bathroom, and I'm VERY pleased with the overall look. I bought a double hook combo (5 star review) and two towel ring/hook combos by the same manufacturer because we wanted 4 hooks on the wall near the shower and a towel ring on either side of the vanity. All items well packaged.Ok, now my concerns. Issue 1: One of the four plastic caps that holds the ring into the post had a manufacturing defect and was inside the post (see picture). I was able to take the ring off and push it out with a screwdriver, but it was also was misformed and doesn't fit right. However, since I had bought 2 rings, I was able to have that one side face the wall with the mirror and no one will ever see it (picture with hand towel).Issue 2: We wanted the hooks up high, so decided to rotate the hook base so the set screws were on top and would not be visible. Not an issue whatever for the two hooks that didn't come with the rings. The base and the post of those two had been coated separately and then assembled together when the coating was dry. I easily detached the post from the base with a screwdriver and rotated the base 180 degrees. However, the two hooks that came with the rings must have been already assembled when the coating was put on or not dry, so when I used a ratchet on the hex nut-no screw in these ones-and then rotated the base, the coating came off a bit on both hooks (close up picture of hook you can see shiny metal ring around the post). Not a deal breaker since a towel will be on the hooks 99% of the time and no one will notice.Issue 3: the peg that points up on the post of the hooks is a different diameter than the 2 hook combo by the same manufacturer. This isn't an issue if you don't buy these two products together, but I did and these 3 manufacturing concerns just added to the frustration and dropped my rating down to 3 stars. Not really interested in returning it exchanging because these issues weren't deal breakers.
