I am a professional cameraman, filming the news every day with several different type of cameras, depends on the need of the package. Because of that I tried small cameras from the very bottom of the spectrum to the high end ones. I use action cameras a lot, as sometimes, is certain situations its not possible to film with the big guns. I did my research on the subject as I wanted to know if the sometimes 10 times more expensive "big boys" are really ten times better or not. I have to say the cheap ones are coming up very quickly. I use them everyday outside work as well, as I always film my daily commute to London and back, two hours a day. I took pictures to compare it with one of the best budget priced competitor on the market from a year ago. Its very similar in appearance, but you can tell that a year has passed, and they getting better. Bigger screen, more user friendly waterproof case, but still possible to use the accessories from early models. One of the biggest different, which is very unusual in this price range is that it has audio mini jack IN, and the package contains an external clip microphone as well. The menu system is easy to operate in, all the usual features are there exactly when you are looking for them. Tons of accessorizes for every possible scenario. So if you are a extreme sport fan, a tourist, a commuter or a Vlogger on a budget, this is the ticket.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This great little action camera (its 2 inches big outside the case!) comes with a lot of extra kit. 3 adjustable clips, two longer straps (shoulder and wrist), a bike handlebar grip and more so that you can attach it to whatever mode of sports gear you find and off you go!This picture quality is great and improves through the app and tv/laptop when viewing, with the app you can see live and then recorded material and store for playback. Brought this as an action camera but will be using it for lots of filming now I’ve seen the results. Easy to take anywhere, good wide angle lense, batteries to cope with any length of filming and best of all it arrived in time for me to use to record my Son’s first Xmas,especially as I can put it out of reach and use the remote or my phone to operate. Considering the price of other cameras out there this is a must have, all the same kit, all the same quality and considerably cheaper. Great purchase!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I bought this camera as I've decided that I want to upgrade my GoPro Hero 3 which I've had for a number of years.When I first opened the packaging I was met with a plastic cube lid housing the camera and a cardboard box underneath housing the accessories. This is similar in the way which GoPro provide their camera's (certainly the 3 when I got it) and it's a nice improvement from the pictures I can see in some of the other reviewer’s pictures.Opening the lower box... WOW... the amount of included accessories is amazing and surpasses what you get from GoPro. I won't list them again here because they are in the description but there's a lot.I took one of the batteries and placed it into the camera and then placed it on charge.Whilst charging, I hadn't realised it was still powered on and I'd left it like this overnight. In the morning the camera was quite hot. Not too hot to touch but it was definitely kicking out some heat.I placed a class 10 card into the camera and set about recording a few things to test it at full resolution.The results were pleasantly surprising and the quality is fantastic.I've previously bought a dash cam advertised as 4k but when examining the footage it was clearly well below this spec.The results of this camera are as followsFrame Width 3840Frame Height 2160Data Rate 33260kbpsFrame Rate 29.97/frames/secondThis means that it is a true 4k video format being produced.Likewise the still picture taken at full resolution of 16MB is4640 x 3480300dpiBit depth 24Producing some nice still pictures.The menu is easy enough to navigate however a touch sensitive screen would have been nice. I installed the android application and this made it easier to change some of the settings but a lot of them are only available by doing it directly on the camera.There are lots of settings available from the format of the date DD-MM-YYY etc right through to image stabilisation.I’m very impressed by this camera and will be mounting it onto my motorcycle along with my GoPro (front and back) to get a full experience. This camera will of course be pride of place at the front!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I already bought a classic action camera , that i used when i was on ski holiday , but i gave that away to a friend , and after that i bought 1 for a friend and now finally i got my own , 4k action camera with Wifi upload , i will post a first video made with it . Its simply amazing , i love it its so easy to use and easy to learn everything on it , first day first attempt and i already love it If you have a budget for this type of camera done hesitate its the best thing to have , for any sports or even for holiday break i think , i asked around and found out that you need an A class memori card so that 4k activates , i bought one and everything works perfectly .Best buy ever , happy happy .
