I thought it was going to be a small book of local wildlife in Alabama and was suprized that it was a fold out like a restaurant menu. It covers only the most common wildlife and provides only a picture and the name of animal, insect, etc.. The National Audubon Society Regional Guide to the Southeastern States is a much better guide and also for sale on Amazon.

not flexible enough for quick and easy access to when in backpack. To hard a lamination for quick usage and getting it out fast for an identification of wildlife, birds, trees and wildflowers.
