This is not an FDA-approved device.It produces of a wavelength of 660 NM.There is a problem with this device and that it's not as powerful as The Tendlite or the quantum Rejuvenation device.Watt rating of 0.425 W is weaker than the FDA approved devices running 3 Watts or 3.7 Watts.So it takes this device longer to give you relief than the FDA approved devices.The Tendlite and the quantum Rejuvenation light give relief in 3-5 minutes exposure.The DGYAO red light device Takes 5-10 minute exposure.Bottom line you get what you pay for this device is only $99Quantum rejuvenation device it's $149Tendlite red light device is $179.Our recommendation is to buy only FDA-approved red light and near-infrared light devices.Thank you, Wes and Wanda Anzai - Mililani Hawaii

Bait and switch, or just false advertising
This therapy device was sent via Amazon and I received it in a timely manner without any damages.I have been experimenting with red light devices for the past couple of years and for me, they work as intended. I also like the fact that the unit is made of stainless steel and the position of on/off switch in the back, and not on the side like other light therapy devices. While I have treatment modalities that I use at home, I have a need for something portable, which was why I purchases this.This device, however, falls far short the seller's claim. In the product description the seller claims; " 1300 mW/cm＾2 penetrating power, and 3 watts leds offers better penetrating system." This is very impressive until I received the unit and noticed the box, picture included here, 0.425 Watt, and 135mW/cm^2. I don't know about similar units sold here, but this is just a very pricey red flashlight. And not a very powerful one as red flashlight in this price range go.One of the main reasons I purchased this unit was due to one of the reviewers here indicating that the light they purchased here was manufactured in Korea. This is a very good thing since Korea has quality control requirements for exported electronics, while some other's don't. As it is clear from my other picture included here, the light received comes from China.I have already ordered the $150 unit from another supplier here, and this one is going back as soon as I contact Amazon for approval.

Great product! Soothes pain and eases tension all over the body.
I am very impressed with this LED red light therapy device! I use it on my neck, my knee, and the tops and bottoms of my feet to ease pain and help relax sore joints and muscles. It produces heat and the bright red light is very intense. It feels good on the body and is lightweight and easy to hold in the exact spot you need it. I also use this on my husband's lower back to help with pain. It comes with its own charger and battery as well as protective eye shades. The charge lasts a long time. I've been using it for a week and have not yet needed to recharge. The product is made very well and top quality. I would highly recommend this product for anyone suffering from joint or muscle pain.

I had initially gave this 1 star because itCame without battery. And was very Very disappointing, because I had to go out and buy one to use the device.But in the end I emailed theseller and they were very sorry and sent me out battery right away..I very happy with the product, it works great!

works great for lower back pain
I got the product for my lower back pain that I've had for years, looks very well made, and it works well. I've been using every single day for nearly two weeks, now I can twist my lower back a little bit without feeling any pain.That's good and much relief for a 63 YO. My life can be more easy right now and I love this thing.

Fantastic Service!
I really like this unit, and it does seem to work in helping soreness and pain. It is very, VERY bright! The best part is after around 5 months of use the battery suddenly would not take a charge, I contacted the seller and after they got back to me said they would send me out a new unit altogether. and I had the new device one day after the gentlemen said it was being shipped!. I am a big fan of this device, and their solid service department!

As advertised, easy to use
I have had this unit several months. The only thing I disliked about this item was the light on the wall charger. The instruction indicate when the light should come on and go off, etc. but my unit is very touchy. However, it has never failed to charge. I find just moving the battery in the charging unit usually makes the charging start and I leave it overnight. Morning, unit is charged. For pain relief, I find it has helped my joints in my hands and feet. It took several treatment of only 2 minutes or so before I felt so relief. The more I have used the unit, the better the results.I am very happy with this purchase.
