Just had it delivered. Perfect, sturdy, my husband used a Mallet to drive it in, hole is big enough to accommodate various umbrella pole sizes. If you’re wondering if it’s well made, it is, my husband was pounding the $&?! out of it to drive in in, i was afraid he was going to bust it. Very happy, exactly what I wanted, needed an extra umbrella for those sunny afternoons and didn’t want to clutter patio w a bulky stand. LOVE IT

I installed it permanently (well semi--permanently) into hard dry soil, that has a few rocks and tree roots in it. I used a 20lb sledge hammer and pounded the heck out of it until it was about a foot into the ground.It's solid no doubt! It took a beating and it didn't bend at all. I'm pleased.That umbrella isn't going anywhere!

Easy to use, very sturdy amd works. We live near the beach and have tried just about everything on the market to keep our beach umbrella from blowing over when the wind picks up at the beach. This is the only product that consistently works!

This thing is built like a tank- literally, I think it weighs at least 20lbs. It will also not work in dirt unless you carry a sledge hammer too- yes, I know it is advertised as a sand anchor.

This anchor is extremely rugged. It should last forever. All was exactly as described; arrived promptly.
