Great tone, build, and design
I bought this expecting a nice guitar for the money. It is all of that and more. I also own an Alvarez AD60-CE, and if you're looking for a dreadnought, look no further--but I also wanted a Grand Auditorium. I've been playing for nearly 40 years, own Martin, Seagull, Yamaha, and lots of electrics. I've had the AG75CE for about a month, long enough for a thorough workout. The tonal range of the AG75CE is outstanding. Play near the bridge and you get clear, high tones, or play over the sound hole for rich, deep tones. It's like a different guitar depending on where you hit the strings, and all good. It sounds great both plugged and unplugged, Alvarez tough yet beautiful. My only gripe is the built-in tuner, which appears to lack an auto-off. I'm already on my third battery. I don't have that problem with the older system in my AD60CE.All in all, this is a great guitar. For the money, it's outstanding.

This is beautiful guitar, finish is great
This is beautiful guitar, finish is great, construction is phenomenal and the sound is bold. Only reason I chose 4 stars was because I found a dead fret on the 13th fret, high E string. The seller was extremely accommodating and helpful. No hassle what so ever for assistance in anyway.

If you want better, you gotta pay more. This is a nice guitar.
Overall, this is a nice guitar. I have another AE guitar, but as many guitarists know, you can't have just one. For the past few years, I've been playing a Breedlove. I love the slightly smaller neck. But, I wanted something with a bigger sound when not plugged in. I shopped around a bit locally and online. I'm not even sure how I came to target this guitar, but I checked out some online demos, then went back out to several local music stores to try it out. None of them had this model in stock, so I tried a few other cheaper Alvarez models. Also, I've owned an Alvarez in the past and liked it.I will say that I didn't purchase the guitar through Amazon.com. I went through another site because of their financing deals. I figured buying it online, if I ended up not liking it, I can sell it on eBay (which I've done with several other guitars). But, so far, I really like this guitar. It does project well when not plugged in. I have a set of Bright Bronze strings on and it sounds great. I've been taking it to jam sessions and the other guitarist is in love with it. It looks great, too. I've had no problems with the neck. I'm going to get an extra saddle and lower it. I haven't played much plugged in, but it's been fine so far. If I run into any issues, I'll update my review. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because during my music store travels, I played a couple other similarly priced guitars (slightly more expensive) that just knocked me out. I didn't purchase any of those because one of them didn't have a good financing deal on it and the other was a composite material and I'm just not sure I want fake wood. So, I'm still very happy with the Alvarez, it's just not a "knock it out of the park" kind of guitar. If you can't afford $600 and up, this is a really nice guitar to have.

High quality mid-range guitar.
PROS:The grand auditorium body is perfect for any modern finger style guitarist and wraps around my body structure very well. The entire body has curves everywhere and feels comfortable all around.Has a deep cutaway that allows full access to the fretboard. The closest guitar you can get similar to a classical but still a steel guitar. The tuning pegs are very high quality, wind easily, and stay in tune.CONS:The electrics are nothing to spectacular but allows the guitar to be connected through XLR or standard 1/4 Inch cable.I would recommend going through an acoustic guitar amp or some pedal to enhance.

Not your $1000 acoustic, but a great Mid-Level Guitar!
Love that it has both the standard 1/4 inch cable hook up and the XLR hookup! Also love the built in tuner and dual pick-ups and the ability to alter the level of the bridge pickup versus the general pick up inside. No issues with this instrument in the 2 years I have had it. I am by no means a high level musician. I play for my church once a month and for leisure so I knew I wanted a good acoustic/electric for an affordable price and this was it!
