Simple 18650 uv
I wanted a cheap, single led, uv light for disc golf. The multi light affairs seem weak. I have a charger and a bunch of 18650 batts so this was perfect. It will be great for throwing at night or finding discs at night that I lost earlier. It charges my Eclipse discs in a snap. Noticed someone complained about batteries down below. You can get cr123a batteries at almost any grocery store and two should work fine . These are not rechargeable and therefore fairly inexpensive. I think they have less voltage and last a bit, while an 18650 will have higher output for shorter periods....at least I think that's how it works.

Better than expected for the price. Uses 18650. Focusable.
Very nice for the price. I've been using a pocket UV flashlight powered by 3xAAA for the longest time for lures and circuit board work. Recently I changed to a different resin and that old flashlight just takes forever and burns through batteries like crazy.(AAA flashlight on left, this ultrafire on the right in photos)Was looking for an 18650 or 21700 powered flashlight since I have such batteries readily available. This thing kicks. Far more powerful and it has a focusable lens which is superb for when I only need to cure in a small area.It has no charging circuit. So you will need a way to charge your 18650 outside the device.Very solid construction. Pleasantly surprised. The clip is secured with screws not a tension ring. Total game changer. Never have to worry the flashlight escaped the clip.Size is nice imo. Good hand fit for holding normally. Little awkward if you want to hold it like a penlight though because it's back heavy.Only con: no lanyard/ring holeI would buy more of these for ice fishing (jigging glow in the dark lures) but without a way to secure it to my person I might have to pass. There are holes in the clip if you wanted to tie on there but then it gets funky not hanging straight.

It works
I can find puppy puddles which are sometimes hidden by the puppies until they learn how to go do their business outside

Ordered on Wednesday, arrived on Thursday...
First things first... I noticed that another reviewer complained that he had to wait a month to receive this UV flashlight... however, without paying for an extra speedy delivery, mine was delivered in less than 24 hours after ordering, so it would seem that this issue has been resolved.I previously purchased a competitor's UV flashlight (of roughly the same light band and same price), and I've been using it for approximately one month. For brightness, the competitor's flashlight was listed at 100 lumens. The UltraFire UV flashlight does not list the lumens in the description but, by comparing the reflection of each (from the same distance and with the apertures of each creating a reflection of equal size) I'd estimate that the UltraFire is at least twice as bright as the competitor's... probably even more so. And boy is this thing bright. It blows the other one clean out of the water. Spots that are barely visible or are not at all visible when using the competitor's, visually explode and really stand out when using the UltraFire. The UltraFire flashlight is slightly smaller than the competitor's (approximately 1 inch shorter, with a diameter that is about 3/16 of an inch smaller)... however, both flashlights weigh approximately the same, and the UltraFire comes with a handy-dandy pocket clip mounted onto the barrel.. The UltraFire's light beam cannot be adjusted to be as large as the competitor's... To measure the difference in size of their light beams, I experimented with them by aiming them both at a wall, and with the apertures of each fully open. From a distance of about 3 feet, the diameter of the UltraFire's light beam is approximately 20 inches across and the competitor's is about 40 inches. At 10 feet, again with both apertures fully open, the UltraFire's beam is approximately 5 feet in diameter, and the competitor's is about 15 feet.Unless you are looking for a UV flashlight that creates a larger (but drastically weaker) diameter light beam, I can't think of a single reason not to buy the UltraFire.

Battery not included!
The description ends in "Bed Bug not included battery" I saw "bed bug not included" and I am not buying it for bed bugs. I'm returning for this reason. The batteries required are not readily available at a retail store. I cant figure out why they didn't do AA batteries, but I'm not a black light engineer. If they had offered a battery to go with the purchase, I would have ordered a rechargeable one for the same price. Which is what I am doing after I return this item.

Lovely little blacklight
Very reliable. It's nice there's a focus on it so I can either have it wide or narrow depending on how far I'm looking for something.Simple on and off switch on back. No nonsense SOS modes or brightness levels to deal with.I had a previous ultra fire light a few years before this one and they have improved a lot since then, funny thing is this takes the same batteries as well. This does a better and brighter job than the old version.

Nice and bright
This worked great for detecting freon leaks in an automotive A/C system. It’s perfect for spotting those little things that regular lights just can’t pick up, like pet stains or hidden markings. It has great power with its UV 395-405 nm LED. The beam is strong and covers a good area, making it super handy for all kinds of tasks. Plus, it feels solid and well-made. If you need a high-quality UV flashlight that does the job right, this one’s definitely worth checking out!
