Took me, alone, 30 minutes to assemble. Would've taken half the time if I had a buddy. Nonetheless, it was simple enough.Other reviewers were correct. The instructions manual doesn't explain everything and doesn't provide additional information that you need a Phillips-head and Flathead Screwdriver to complete construction. The other part that is also unclear was that you need to drill 10 screws for the top cushion part. If you look closely on the bottom of the seat cushion, there are 10 tiny holes to give you a hand in placing the bottom part of the bench. The holes don't match the alignment perfectly, but I'm glad they were there so I can gauge it well enough. I just used a Philips-head, manually, to drill these screws in. I'm 5 feet, and have little to no arm strength, but was east enough for me to do!HUGE TIP: On top of the instructions, it does indicate to loosely screw all components until all has been assembled. If you tightly screw everything along the way, you will have a very difficult time putting rest of the pieces together. So that one suggestion is very important. Turned out great; sturdy and not wobbly.Product color and look matches merchant photos perfectly.

The bench itself is great. I use it as a seating alternative at my kitchen table, and two people can fit comfortably on the bench without worry of the bench not being able to hold its weight. The cushion is comfortable and a nice material. A button on the bench did fall off and needed to be re-glued shortly after its assembly, but for the cost of the item the small fix was worth it.My one con is the assembly of the bench. The screws are difficult to put in the cushion without having professional gear. Some of the screws still don't hold and fall out regularly.

The design and color of the bench were perfect for fit for our home. Sturdy bench, but definitely only for one adult. It took me about an hour to assemble. It came with one tool, but also had to use a screwdriver of our own to tighten 2 of the screws. I had someone stronger than I check the tightness of the screws after I assembled- some were in precarious positions.

It is suitable for our needs, a small bench for kids to put on shoes before heading out the door. The specs say it could hold 300lb, I am not sure I want to push it but for two kids or one adult it seems fine. The size is accurate to the description, which was my main reason for purchasing.

The product looked nicer and bigger/ longer than expected. The assembly was all good until i got to the final step per the manual to connect the upholstery and couldn’t figure out how to connect because there were no predrilled holes to connect with the bottom shoe rack. Further, What is shown as last step in the manual is shown as the first step in the video the link to which can only be found in the Q&A and naturally I went there because I was stuck on this step. The how to video should be included in the main post so people can see it before / when they buy. Also, the holes on the upholstery should be predrilled bc not everyone has drilling guns available. I ended up using a screwdriver to manually create holes using the dotted pointers on the upholstery which i wouldn’t have found if I didn’t read someone’s review...overall product turned out good after 2 hours to assemble which was annoying. Looks sturdy but will know more about that after a few days of use.

I use this bench for extra seating in my very small living room. I have very few storage spaces in my apartment so I have put baskets on the shelf and keep my yarn there. I know this is a shoe rack bench but when I saw it, I knew it was just what I needed!

First, the actual product is missing the thick horizontal bar next to the rackSecond, it is missing 2 anti slide foot padsThird, the back of the seat doesn’t have any hole to screw, it is hard to measure the correct place.….

Great little bench and easy to put together despite what other reviewers say. I spray painted the legs black before assembling to match my decor and it looks great! There were some splinters, but on the raw edges of the wood where this meets the underside of the bench, just be careful!
