I like this item because it gets down to all the hairsNear the skin. Much better that a brush. I love the effect it gives in removing shedding hairs on my Pug.

I have a boxer and a french bulldog. No brush would get enough of there short hair. This brush will! It is crazy if I don't use it for a week how much hair comes off. My pups LOVE it, they never want me to stop brushing them.

I have a Maine Coon, gorgeous long hair, non matted. This is NOT what I expected. The tines are so small that it was stripping all my kitty's TOP hair as well as her undercoat. After a few strokes I stopped otherwise I would have a kitty with NO hair. Preferably I will continue to use a wide tooth steel comb which does the job.

works VERY well! I have a long hair and a short hair. definitely removes the loose hairs and it doesn't hurt my kitties at all! The kitten squirms a lot because she wants to play with it instead of let me brush her! Works great.

The package arrived well packed and on time.I have four dogs. A Goldie, a English Setter, a Sheltie and a Terrier.Over the years I have bought a lot of grooming tools, brushes, combs - You name it.Some have worked some have not.This does remove a fair amount of the under-coat.The dogs don't seem to mind it, so I'm guessing that it is not hurting or harming them in any way.However it clogs up with hair after a couple of strokes and you need to remove the dog hair. This takes up a lot of time and the dog quickly becomes bored and wants to do whatever it is that dogs want to do?To be honest I can do a better job with a good quality comb or rake.Maybe I was just expecting too much?I think that I'll just use it on the legs of the Setter and Goldie.

Bought this for my constantly shedding cats and holy moly! This is AMAZING. It pulls out all that undercoat with one stroke and a very light hand! My cats hate to be brushed but they really seem to enjoy this!A great buy as a dupe for the Furminator
