Best tape by far, this is on par with OEM tape ford uses when their harnesses are built. Way better than tesa tape or 3m super 33. There is no comparison whatsoever.Who cares if it smells strong? Why would that even matter. People complain worse than they ever have nowadays and they have it extremely easy.

Shipping was as promised, product was just what I needed. I was building a wire loom for charging station for 30 radios. This tape was the correct tape to wrap around the plastic looms at each point where a wire (or wires) exited the loom. Also works good to place it where you need to hold cables or hoses up out of the way. I read one reviewer who said it doesn't stick... I don't know where that came from, because this sticks just fine, both to itself and to the plastic looms and rubber hoses.

First of all- hard to find except on internet. Not in big box stores or Ace hardware. I had a special application-using as a level indicator for the fuel tank on my boat after guage died. Put on a wooden dowel so i could observe fuel level. without tape fuel would evaporate on dowel before I could read. I also have several sets of flip flops where te thongs have loosened / stretched and the leather tops your foot rests on have become slick . I have used the tape to build up the pad and provide friction so my foot doesn't slip and my ankle will remain unbroken. Excellent cohesive characteristics and malleable. Layers of tape bond over each other. TAPE PROVIDERS had the best selection of widths - would definitely consider them my Go TO for future needs

I've used this type of tape before but this tape in particular is a lot better looking and easy to work with. I used it to wrap a harness with in a vehicle and it worked great it is a little bit tacky as most any brand of this tape is. The only complaint I have is that it had a very strong smell

Four stars, one star off for low self tack. I understand that friction tape is not a high tack adhesive product, but one expects a certain amount of postionable adhesion when attaching the tape to itself. I felt that the product was good but not excellent at this critical function. In terms of isolation abilities, it appears to be excellent. Delivery via Amazon Prime was as expected. This tape is priced at the high end for friction tape, so my expectations were based on it being a premium product. I was paid for this review.

I used this in both automotive and marine applications in engine compartment. Very strong and looks like it will stay put forever. Does require razor blade to cut - you won't be able to rip it by hand. Also hard to find the end of the roll. But it works much better than typical electricians fabric tape for wrapping wire bundles etc.

Great tape! It has a little funky smell to it once you unwrap it but it eventually goes away. This is the same tape most auto manufacturers use on their wiring harnesses. I found it works better if after you wrap your harness, you squeeze it. It seals up nicely and doesn’t come unraveling once you do.

Got this to redo some wiring on my 3D printer. It sticks pretty well to itself, but not as sticky on other things. Had to retry a couple of times to get it to work like I wanted, but it did work as intended eventually. Pretty good stuff, I would probably buy it again
