Duracell GL010NP4DU Outdoor Solar Lights, LED Garden Pathway Lights, Stainless Steel, Set of 4

This is the second set I’ve bought. Quality is good and they function well and look good. They are attractive when lit. I’ve waited for the price to drop before buying against the full price £30 is a bit on the high side.

these lights look great and they give off a nice cool white colour. Easy to assemble. Need to wait for the summer for maximum effect as in the middle of UK winter they do not get much sun to charge for very long, but still get a couple of hours a night before they run out.

For such expensive items, the improvement over supermarket and diy warehouse versions was marginal.

Well there is a good and bad on this item. I fully charged them before use and when lit up they are effectively lighting up the path and look smart. The down side is, they dont stay on for 8 hours at all. In fact they turn off about an hour on a few after turning on and some even half hour. There are a few I've not even put in the garden because they come on for. They dont dim before they go off. They just switch off. Quite disappointed in them. Will not get any more at all. I was planning, if good quality, to light up my garden all the way around which is quite a big garden. I was going to get about 5 more packs but now I wong be.

You’ll be lucky to get 2 hours of light from these. Pretty disappointed with them. Not worth paying extra for the brand.

Excellent quality lights! Really happy with the light output they also cast a lovely pattern on the ground, not too bulky for plant containers either, can’t wait to put all 12 of them out in garden!

These are effective and reasonably priced solar path for the quality/materials used. Living right out in the countryside can make seeing where you're going on paths and drives a bit awkward in the evenings. There are no streetlights on our lane, so when it gets dark outdoors, it's really, really dark. In the depths of Winter from about 4pm onwards. These are a really good, non-wired (no electrician costs!), solar powered solution.The lights are well made and a pretty flower-shaped styling to them. The ground spikes are plastic and at just over 9cm long enough to give good stability to relatively low height, low weight, slim lights. Since it's November and the ground is quite wet, these slotted easily and securely into our clay soil. With a total above ground height of just shy of 40cm these are tall enough to give effective path lighting, and short enough not to be affected by light to moderate wind. The output light time of up to 8 hours is, obviously, also determined by the impact of weather and time of year on charging time. These do require a few days of use to get the batteries up to full functioning.We found these, and another set of solar lights from the same manufacturer, to be quite sensitive (perhaps a bit too sensitive) to changes in light - and ended up having to move them from our originally intended positions for them. On a couple of quite sunny days, shadow cast in the early to mid afternoon by our house and tall trees/bushes in the garden was enough darkness to convince the solar panels that it was dark - so the lights had come on and were discharging a good hour and a half before they needed to be working. Re-siting these resolved the issue, but it was a bit surprising, as other solar products we've owned haven't had the same degree of sensitivity. Each of the lanterns runs on a single, replaceable 900ma AA solar rechargeable battery and contains one bright white LED.

Well made as you'd expect from Duracell, nice bright lights, all as on the box.
