Arrived promptly, well packed, cans all perfect. Both dogs loved it, even picky senior Chiweenie. Good ingredients. Very picky owner.Edit: ordered Merrick when Whole Paws subscription order delayed with no ship date, chose Merrick as closest to their regular which they like very much. Placed both in their dishes side by side, and they both immediately went for Merrick and ate it first, then happily finished the Paws after. Every time. In case you have a super picky senior Chiweenie with no teeth.

We have the pickiest eater who also has allergies, can’t have any chicken, and has pancreatitis. He hates all dog food he’s ever tried. We even tried making dog food for him. Doesn’t love that either. Thought we’d try this one out, and I’m so glad we did! We usually have a hard time getting him to eat 1-3.3 oz can of food. He had up three ounces immediately. And came back for seconds and thirds. We just got it today so I’ll update review if his stomach tolerates it well. Just so happy to find food he will actually eat that is actually good for him! And bonus points that it doesn’t smell bad either. I usually hate opening the cans. It’s kind of like a paté in gravy but it mixed in well.

Finally, my picky, little, old rescue dog will eat this. It smells like real meat!

We have used this before and my Callie loved it. Since turning 11+ a lot of foods are not agreeing with her. With the Vet's help I have changed her food to a lesser protein and calorie but want to return to a higher protein and calorie. Have not re-introduced her to this to see if she can tolerate it. More later.It is one of the few dog foods that does not have potato or chicken in it. That is a plus for Callie.

I actually love Merrick's wet dog food & more importantly, my fur baby girl loves it! It's pricey, but the food is loaded with protein & my dog has less skin issues since I've been giving her food with more protein/meat. I do, however, have an issue with Amazon's delivery, or handling of the product. Majority of cans came in dented & damaged. A few cans even burst open on top, which I ended losing money on, cuz I had to throw them away. I reported to Amazon & was told the product is not eligible for returns or credit. I intend to let Merrick's know..maybe they can reach out to Amazon, in regards to how they handle their product. Our pets consume this food, so it should be handled with as much care, as if it was for humans..

Delicious hot or cold. Perfect easy dinner for seniors living on a fixed income!
