Very good quality, excellent value and life proof. It's classic timeless design is pleasing and fit for most ocasions.

Shocked at how fast premium Japan sent the watch out! Great watch! Old school no nonsense! Very vivid screen, light and rugged.

The watch itself is great. It has the soft touch case and band, unlike the $45 version that has the hard plastic.The problem I have is that they are advertising this as the Japanese market version. It is not! It is made in Thailand. That is fine and in of itself not a problem. But don’t advertise it as the JDM one. You can clearly see in the picture the different model numbers.

These watches are the best bang for buck tough digital watches on the planet.You really cannot go wrong for the price that casio is asking for these watches.If you like your watches easy to read, super lite weight,packed with functions and priced great then casio has got you covered.

Falsely advertised as being from Japan. It is a very good product.

So I like this watch for the following reasons:+ It's solar powered+ It's meant to take a lickin' and keep on tickin' (vis a vis G-shock)+ It is small in size, both the face and wristband width and length (i.e.: meant for a small Japanese wrist).With that said, unless you know what you're getting, that is you've seen this watch in person - go for it. If not, do not pull the trigger.

Just bought this Casio G-Shock Casio G-5600E-1JF G-SHOCK Tough Solar Watch (as stated on Amazon) because it was declared as a "Japanese Model". When I received the watch, the back case and buckle both indicated made in "Thailand". Other than the misleading watch information, the G-Shock appears to be in good condition, the adjust (A) button (top left) is not recessed and usable, and all the functions worked properly.Pros: Surprisingly compact, light-weight, durable, very legible, basic features (world time, 24-hr stop watch and count down timer, and user-friendly.Cons: Misleading model label

This is a great do-it-all sport watch. I picked this watch up for the upcoming summer months as I plan to do alot of outdoor activities and needed a watch that wouldn't be ruined by sweat, sunscreen, swimming, etc. The watch is light, comfortable, has many useful features (i.e., world-time, alarms, stopwatch, timers, etc.) and is not too large. It is also solar-powered which makes this one of the most maintenance free watches I own.I ordered from seller Nadeshico-JAPAN-CA and had a great experience. The package arrived 1 full week before the start of the Amazon expected delivery time (with a lovely thank-you note!). The watch was well packed and came through Japan Post and DHL with no holdups at borders/customs. The Nadeshico-JAPAN-CA team was easy to contact and promptly provided the tracking details upon request.

I give it 5 stars for the product only. Its a great sleek look. I have medium sized writs and am not a big guy. Its a great size for anyone over 150lbs weight. Its light weights, seems strong. The face looks classy and super easy to read. So far I'm loving the purchase.I did pay extra for express shipping which it took almost a month to get to me instead of the 7days. After a lot of back forth emails with japan and amazon finally I received it. Otherwise its a great buy. if you want a high end watch for half the price, buy this watch.

This watch, at first glance, seems dynamite. I love the accuracy of the atomic time keeping, and I love the idea of solar charging. I've had other more expensive watches with more bells and whistles (e.g. altimeter) that never seem to get used. I've had cheaper watches that are not near tough enough. This seemed like a great combination - tough as nails with all the right features. Aside from straight up telling time, the other feature I use my watch for most often is an alarm - the thing has to drag me out of bed. And the alarm feature on this watch is no good. It only beeps very quietly for 10 seconds and that's not near enough to get me out of a deep sleep. There is a snooze feature - it'll beep again in a few minutes, but still only for 10 seconds. For me, this is a fatal flaw that makes the watch very close to useless. Took a look at a few other Casio manuals, and this seems to be their standard so I ended up going with a different brand.
