Eco-Drive Chandler Mens Watch, Stainless Steel, Weekender

My husband has worn a Citizen watch identical to this for over 20 years.He recently accidentally submerged the much loved timepiece in water, which sadly meant the watch was unusable.We were so happy to see that Amazon still has the identical watch available.This watch never needs to have a battery replaced, it recharges itself through sunlight or room lights.It worked faultlessly for over 20 years.His previous one still looked great as well, having lost none of its finish.This is a classic watch that can be worn for even the most formal occasions but is also totally suitable for everyday wear as well.It's worth every bit of it's cost!

I have had this watch for over 10 years. It is very accurate and easy to read. I love the low profile. All my old watches used to get hit when I would reach for something while working. This one is very light weight, stylish, low profile and comfortable to wear. With the Eco Drive, you never have to replace a battery or wind it.

Very nice watch, I'm only givin it 4 stars because IMO the bracelet is not as solid as I would have liked, that being said, the watch is still very nice and the profile pic of the watch on the ad does not do it justice. I have just received this watch and what I want to do is provide an update on how it is doing later on down the road at least 6 months from now.I'm led to believe that Citizen makes real quality watches that with the right care will last for years and even a lifetime, I'm hoping that is the case with this watch too.pros-the watch is very visible for a tank watch, even if you're older you'll have no problems reading the dial, the watch is very thin and would fit very well under a shirt and suit, it's delicate but hey almost all dress watche are, not something you want to go out and pound nails while wearing it. It's a real classy looking watch without looking gaudy or too flashy. Basically gold plated watches tend to look only good on your grandfather. This watch would look great on any one who is in the financial, real estate or banking field of work while the price point is quite affordable as well. Yeah it's not Rado but it's the next best thing at a quite bit less money too.cons-well as one responder said they would have liked more water resistance, BUT this is a tank dress watch and most of them are made only to be W.R. and not meant at all to be submerged under any circumstances, you'd be a real turkey to take a shower with this watch on. Again not a watch you'd want to take on a fishing excursion or river rafting. And the bracelet while not bad is just not as solid as I would have liked paying for a 187 dollar watch, but I'm still happy with the purchase.I've owned many Citizen watches in my life but I've never kept one long enough to say enough about it's true durability because I usually give my watches away, but I've read many reviews of people having Citizens that they've worn for 15 to 25 years and they still say the watch is keeping great time and aside from wear still looks great. If anyone has bad things to say about this company I'm willing to doubt their assesments as Citizen truly is a world leader in affordable watches.

My wife just got this for me a few days ago, because it was steeply discounted here. We were both stunned by how good this watch looks. I've only worn it to work a couple times and frequently get compliments on it. And of course, it's got that super accurate movement Citizen is famous for, and the Eco-Drive is an added bonus -- a solar powered watch! Who wouldn't want that?I adjusted the band myself to get a nice, snug fit. It only took a few minutes, pretty much intuitive. Look for the arrows on the back of the band and use a paper clip and something to tap it with to push out the pins holding the links together, remove a few, and tap a pin back in.

This watch is a great pair for men/women with small to medium size wrists.. High quality and heavy. And since it’s an eco-drive, it’ll be long lasting.

My husband wanted something to replace his 12 year old Citizen Eco-Drive watch that suddenly wasn’t keeping time. He found this replacement and although not the exact model as the one he had, this one offered the sleek, slim profile that he wanted. He was happy to find an elegant replacement and hopefully will get another 12 years out of this one. There are no batteries to replace, just wear and go!

Very pleased with this watch and it arrived much quicker than expected. This model is not available in Spain so was happy to find it on Amazon.
