J&D'S Cheddar Bacon Salt Low Sodium Flavoured Seasoning Salt 70g JDS

I purchased this product along with a similar bacon type product sold in a tin. This is inferior to the other product. The smokey flavour is there but no taste of bacon at all. Tastes more like smoked paprika. It's an ok seasoning if you don't expect a bacon flavour but would not recommend if looking for a bacon taste.

Very tasty product adds flavour to most savoury dishes, A little expensive but you don't need much on a dish so lasts quite a whileI would certainly buy it again

Rubbish, it's supposed to make everything taste like bacon, but it's doesn't, it's got a smoky taste but it doesn't taste like bacon!

Best way to describe the taste? Taste like Austrian oak smoked cheese. No bacon taste to it but I'm happy with it since it's used to flavour my beef jerky. It is a shame that the smokey cheese masks the bacon taste. Only reason I've given it a 4/5 is because of the advertising, if it was advertised as smoked cheese flavour with no bacon then it would have been bang on. 100% still worth the buy in my opinion.
