Are you imagining your daughter dancing the Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker? Or you are just thinking about recording you going through that barrel (the tunnel made by the wave) when you're surfing? All cool ideas, isn't it?Now you can record all that at an affordable price. Yes, this camera brings in the box a huge amount of accessories for the price, so many that it makes me wonder how they can manufacture all this and still have profit for such a small price. Incredible. I also bought two extra batteries and I do not regret it. Now what can it do or what is a budget action camera capable of? I would say a lot for the price although it needs to be mentioned that not as much as the manufacturer says it will.I'll explain, I have started by mentioning some possibilities of things you might like to do to enjoy your time off but you may want the extra resolution, the extra detail of the 4k video but you won't be able to enjoy it because this camera doesn't record real 4k.Before you discard the possibility of buying this product read the rest of the review.First, yes it is not real 4k and that is a normal thing on this budget action cameras coming from China. The brands usually interpolate the resolution. What on earth is the interpolation of the resolution? The companies use image software that 'enhance and stretch' the resolution making it through an algorithm that mimics or produces an approximation of its neighboring pixels resulting in an output of 4k (3840 x 2160) and even though it does that the final quality is definitely not the same as real 4k.That is the only negative point I have to say about this camera.Let's go now for the good points: the 1080p (or full high definition) is decent with the plus of having the possibility of recording at 60 frames per second or in 720p 120fps giving you a super slow motion if you want it and that is the key point that should bring the buyer over to the purchase of it.If you surf just imagine that you can slow down the video when you are right inside the wave surrounded by water just with only one way out. What a beautiful shot you will get. The same when you jump into the pool and make a huge splash making everyone around the pool wet and being able to see it over and over in slow motion. Brilliant. Or one of your daughters dancing the ballet with all the gracious moves and you can record that in slow motion. You get the idea.The microphone is just average but serves the purpose. About its color reproduction, it makes the yellows and reds clip, which means that it makes it too bright that loses all the detail but that is also the problem of even more expensive cameras and I am talking about cameras costing even 5 times more. The media could not be loaded.  NiceI have used lots of Action cameras and we try to buy different brands so that when we lend tham out for dives we know we get the same ones back. Unfortunatley on here there is no way to show the 4K as the video is simply too large to upload but it is very worth while. The colours and the details are beautiful and it doestn suffer from blur or ghosting. The camera is much the same to look at as other action cameras and its feature control is similar. However CanKong have gone a few extra miles to deliver a package that gives you more than lots of others.A remote control thats waterproof to 10 feet. So you can strap that on your wrist and dont miss a shot whilst youre fumbling for the buttons.Wifi - Download a FREE App and watch what the camera is looking on on your smart phone - also start/stop recording and take pictures - all from the phoneBatteries - comes with the 2 standard 1050mAh batteries but its CamKong who brought us the 1350mAh and whilst it doesnt say it on the advert - I got an offer for 2 free 1350 batteries and a charge - how great is that.This is such a great package. the box is a retail type which once wrapped in paper makes a great looking present and with all the added accessory parts to be able to use the camera in lots of places and the offer of the extra batteries - this is a great gift idea.In case I havent mentioned it, the camera is easy to use and takes great pictures/video. Im sure its okay to 30m and I will be trying out in a few weeks.Edit - I notice that the Amazon compression has messed up the video - if you look its the same for most videos - the actual video is great detail and colour

This is a nicely made robust little action camera. Light at just under 80grams and It comes with a generous amount of accessories too.The video footage is excellent for the price. It deals with focusing quickly and very well on smaller objects. Also transitions between light and dark, mostly in shade and into sunlight are again handled very well.I got about 60 minutes from the battery but was impressed by how quickly it charged back up again while plugged in and was grateful to have the second spare battery to be able to continue filming.There are more video resolution option than just the 4K if you didn’t want as much detail in your video (to get more footage on your memory card as an example), but I’m using a class 10 32gb memory card and I would suggest that as a minimum requirement if running this in 4k resolution.As for reviewing footage, you can either do so with your phone, using an app and the wifi connection or from your PC. The app allows you to review footage without having to unmount the camera. So if you have it on your helmet while skiing down a mountain thats very convenient rather than having to take it all off. Connecting it to the PC was easy, I plugged this into my USB port on my windows 10 PC and it found it right away and I could view the memory card with all the footage easily. I also tried this on our windows 7 laptop and it again found it with no problems or hassle. So just ‘plug and play’. So in a nutshell, this is easy to use, very good video and picture quality and loads of accessories. The menu system is very simple and is perfect for beginners and more experienced users alike. I made 2 pictures 1 with 4k resolution and the other with 720 (the tree one). Really happy with this product.
