I'll start by saying that I almost didn't buy this Shruti box because of the complaints about the build quality being poor. You can see by the pictures customers posted that some of the hardware was very low-quality. But after looking at many different Shruti boxes all over the Internet (not that there were many places to buy them), I had issues with most of the boxes I found. [SIDE NOTE: Someone eventually needs to come out with a high-quality "concert" shruti box that's made with beauty and high-quality screws and fixture, etc. And clearly, this box isn't that kind.]I didn't find anything I was very excited about anywhere else on the Internet, so I went ahead and ordered this one anyway. And I'm glad I did! So it's got cheap-looking hardware. It's not really that big a deal, overall. The sound is so beautiful and I play it with my eye closed most of the time. LOL I use it during meditation sessions and just to have something to sing/chant with. And for that purpose, this is a great shruti box.Overall, this shruti box is very well-made and solid, even if it looks cheaply made due to the materials used. And the sound is absolutely wonderful.My Recommendation:If you want to get a Shruti box and you care about the sound and how solidly it's put together, I suggest you get this one. In just a few minutes of playing it, you won't be so concerned about it looking a little cheaply-made because you'll know how solidly-built it really is. And you'll fall in love with the sound.I thought about knocking it down 1 star for the "low quality" hardware used to build it. But ultimately, it's the sound that I care about. And for that, I decided to give it 5 stars.

Arrived quickly and as described. It works well, and the bellows provide a nice sustained drone with little effort. This Shruti box plays chords of three and four without much “pumping” effort and at a surprising volume. For the price this is a well made box which I am currently integrating into a musical performance group. ‘Solid construction. ‘Satisfied customer.

The sounds of the instrument is good. a lower Octave than what I imagined. The craftsmanship of this instrument not so good. It looks used and as if someone tried to fix it at home with glue. Lots of dents and scratches. Was expecting new.

It is a beautiful design and durable box. The sound is amazing, you can play different notes and very User-friendly . Thanks 🙏🏽

Very nice. Great sound. The keys are a bit tight, but hopefully they'll loosen up with time and playing.

It does sound good but very soon after purchasing, it started making all kinds of strange buzzing/rattling noises. I went with a higher price point Shruti box hoping that it would be better quality, but am disappointed with the purchase.
