Seavy 60 cm 1100 m3/hr Chimney (Acura SS 60, 2 Baffle Filters, Steel/Grey)

This was the cheapest 1100m3 chimney I found on amazon.At the time of the purchase I hadn't seen any reviews for this product.Pros: it is elegant. The 60 cm turned out to be a perfect fit for my kitchen.I like the fact that you have a 3 Speed Control for the exhaust.The buttons are conventional. I find that more reliable than the more modern day touch pad buttons which involve more electronics.The lamps are 2 conventional filament bulbs which can be replaced to cfl subsequently but NOT to led bulbs as advised by the service personnel.Based on the experience of the service personnel who installed this product, about 1 in 200 pieces end up with issues of the PCB's.If this occurs within the 1st year warrenty period, the first replacement will be covered free of charge.The exhaust motor comes with 7 yrs warrenty.This chimneys simplistic design, allows us to clean the Baffle tray easily.The product shipped was well packed. Having checked it on arrival, everything was in order.The stainless steel of the chimney you see in the picture comes with a blue protective film to prevent any scratches in transit.Remove it before you put the chimney to use.Cons:With this chimney, Seavy provides a cheap plastic exhaust shoot about 7/8 ft length. This will probably only last only abt 2 to 3 months after which you will have to replace it.The service personnel who attended had come with the aluminium shoot for which would have costed an additional 1450 rs.I Decided to use the existing plastic shoot provided till it lasts and then replace it to the aluminium shoot.I had to pay 750rs for installation. But considering the price point of this chimney, it still worked out cheaper than its closest competitors for the same 1100 m3 exhaust capacity.—------------------------------------------Seavy customer service was very prompt in calling me up for the installation. However the attending personnel took a couple days to come for the installation.The installation personnel (Mr. HARISH /for bangalore), knew his job and did it efficiently.

Buy the product only if u do not need after sales service and/or installation from manufacturer. The chimney is very good and performs well to all expectations. No installation carried out even a week after delivery although manufacturer promises within 48 to 72 hrs. Repeated attempts at installation requests to cust care and local service center in mumbai failed. Staff at service center make false promises. Due to above i had to install the chimney by myself as it was frustrating staying home from work and waiting all day for their representative to arrive. I expect the same service if and when a defect arises and in that case i will replace product with new and not buy from same manufacturer again.After installation the product works better than other manufacturers. Best feature is the noise which is much lesser than my previous faber chimney.

The design is nice and suction power is pretty good. Noise level is low and bearable at highest power setting. The two default lights are sufficient. Chimney was installed in 2 days post delivery. Good 3rd party service.The length of the chimney might be small for some. Filters need to be cleaned every month. Using bit excess oil while cooking might be a problem. The filters won't easily clog but excess oil especially in summers will require frequent cleaning.Overall, very good combination of baffle filter, high suction power and low noise level at this price. Although a little expensive.

The product is really nice . I bought it at price of 5500 with discount price .The db sound little high when running by 3 rotor . Installation service not available in my area so I installed by outsource and the charged 600 for this . If there would be led lamp it could be better . Size of chimney is medium and convenient for 2 burner . Outlet Flexible pipe is not so good if u connect PVC pipe of 6inch there will no chance of leakage .

Not used much .. but felt good .. The service engineer was hurry while install and was not installed properly. When I try to clean the chimney it fell down. Usually there shud b two clamps to fit. But he fitted only one . When I called service person he is demanding money to correct it .. seriously it's a big concern ..

The minimal design of this chimney looks class. Lights are the normal lamps and not LED but it still works great. The air suction which I consider to be the most important part is really powerful. Noise level is not so high at 1 speed & 2 speed. At 3 speed, there is a little more noise but it is bearable and is not often required to run chimney at 3 speed.I have waited for a while for the price go down during sale. Happy with the decision.The packaging was clean and the shipping was also done in 3 days.

I got this from amazon in time, unfortunately switch mounting screw had come out, booked return, promptly sent replacement immediately, this time the chimini was good. suction is good, worth for the money paid, as an engineer I suggest manufacturer to improve on swtch mounting design, screwing on to metal strong part insted on plastic.

After lot of research I finally end up buying this chimney based on its price and looks there is no other company providing such a good product with affordable price. In this price range 1100 suction power motor works flawlessly without any effort. Compare to my previous chimney this one makes less noise and cleaning the filters is also hassle free due to baffle filters.I would recommend this product to my friends and family.
