I really like this product, it arrived very quickly and was exactly as described on the website. I feel better knowing that I’m reusing rather than wasting lots of cotton wool rounds (which is what I used to do each night to remove makeup). The pads work well for removing make up-I use the grey ones to do this. I have also used them to remove nail varnish and this worked very well too. I have tried washing them straight after use with warm water and saving them up and putting them all in the washing machine in the bag they came with. Both methods work well. The only downside is that my bag has broken after one wash, so I’ll get another. But all in all I’m very glad I purchased these. It’s a small change to make but every little bit helps our environment!

My New Years resolution was to use less plastic and harmful materials. I was waiting to order these; I wanted to use up the last of the cotton wool first. I was really excited when my parcel arrived- very speedy delivery. The white pads are PERFECT! Well made with a sort of cotton material one side and very soft plush material on the other. Perfect for talking off light makeup and heavy makeup. The stitching round the edge is pretty good. The net wash bag that the pads come in is also well made. The quality of the black ‘charcoal’ pads were not as good in my personal opinion. Both sides of the black pad are made out of a fleece type material. Perfect for anyone with sensitive skin but not my cup of tea. I wish I could buy a bag of just white ones to be honest ha ha! Overall it’s a good product with good intentions of being kind to the environment!

Lovely quality wash pads, very soft on one side and slightly rougher on the other. The grey ones are particularly nice as they won't discolour with make up, though the white ones have washed surprisingly well. I rinse them out after use and keep them in the little laundry bag until I've used them all, then wash with my whites.

These are an absolute perfect replacement to disposable cotton pads. A great switch to become more environmentally friendly. The only thing that makes me rate them one less star is that they’re only stitched together around the sides, not the middle, meaning the two layers of fabric move around quite a bit which makes it more challenging to use. Not a deal breaker by ANY means, just a small inconvenience really, but worth mentioning. If you’re a sewer this would be a quick fix - but you’d also probably be better off just making your own if that were the case!

I bought these and another similar item. These are vastly inferior to the others. The main problem with these is that the pads have two sides which don’t stay together, so wiping isn’t easy. The two parts come apart.With this type of product it would be helpful if there were two bags included...one for storage of the pads, and one for in the washing machine. Since I bought two sorts of pads, this problem was solved for me!

Arrives in paper packaging so is totally non-plastic which is a big seller for me. Comes with a laundry bag to wash them and keep them all together! These aren’t as absorbant as cotton pads but you will get used to that it doesn’t matter. Have applied toners and used these to cleanse and has worked brilliantly for both. Very happy, I will probably buy more!

I’m trying to cut out as much plastic as I can and switched to these recently. Must confess, I don’t find them as nice to use as cotton wool sheets and make up wipes, my skin feels slimier/greasier somehow and with the combination of these and shampoo bars, my hair and skin don’t feel as squeaky clean as they normally would. I’ll perservere but not sure about them at the moment.

I came to search for this item to overall help with the environment and reduce the waste I was using. I would normally use at least 2 cotton pads a day with my skin products. I have been using these for just over a week now for taking off my makeup and using with my toner. It took me a few days to get used to them as they are not as thick as cotton pads and are bigger but now I have been using them everyday I am very happy with this product. They are soft and gentle on the skin, very absorbent and flexible. I like that the packaging is recyclable and that these are reusable. I have had no trouble washing them and they have not come out damaged at all so seem pretty hard wearing so far. Would highly recommend.
