Keeps battery out of effect.
If you have pedals that don't get used often, this is a must. Just plug in and unplug when done. No chance of battery corrosion ruining it.

Perfect for my needs...
This cable is for plugging a 9v battery into a typical guitar pedal with standard center-negative. I prefer to run my pedals on battery power than AC. I never install and leave a battery in my pedals. I'm not suggesting using these for any long-term solution. Rather, I primarily use it when I just want to run 1 or 2 pedals (you can use a power distribution cable). I'm not a fan of 9v batteries because they're expensive and don't last long enough to justify their price or environmental impact which is why I use a rechargeable. For my few active basses that use very little juice, I like carbon batteries as they safer than alkalines.Tangent alert: Another use I have for this is to power a Hotone Nano Legacy amp. Yes, secret. While they come with 18 volt adapters, they can be operated at 9v. They will not play as loudly and will have less clean headroom when powering a speaker cabinet. It's a great option for portable headphone use. I've actually found a solution for this particular use that's even better.Look at B078NK9GS2. NOTE: to use this with the Nano amp or a pedal(s), you will need a reverse polarity cable as it's center-positive. It's also the same dimension as the Nano amp so it looks great together. I'll post a review for that later with a photo. I keep these filled with Eneloops and can power several pedals at once.

Incorrectly manufactured product will burst your battery into flames.
The negative and positive wires were connected to the wrong connectors for a 9V battery. The positive wire was connected to the male head and the negative was connected to the female. This is also a danger to the users of this product. When a user connects the battery to the product while plugged in and waits for it to work without realizing the product is manufactured incorrectly, the battery can and will burst into flames eventually.

Great for Mooer Pre-amp Pedals
I use mine to power my Mooer 015 pre-amp guitar pedal, since I don't always have easy access to a wall outlet. Works great! Couple this with a rechargeable 9V battery, and you'll always be ready to go.
