I use the cream and love it. Sprays are messy and it feels too oily in the spray version.

The sunscreen I received had a strong, unpleasant smell and there were grains insterspersed in it. Did I just get a bad tube?

I just got a sample and used it this morning. It wasn't grainy, but I do think that it smelled way different than other similar suncscreens that I've used.

Does this sunscreen have nano particles?

Yes this product DOES contain nano-sized particles. When I contacted customer service Manager Eva at Topix Pharmaceuticals, she informed me that the particle sized IS LESS THAN 100 NM - THAT MEANS NANO. ALSO, the product description by Replenix says "micronized", which means NANO according to Google.
