Best I seen todate.
The media could not be loaded. This is smooth to touch. Slick surface and interior. . It Has very high density. This will last years in my electric Kiln. Would be a waste on metals other then gold, platinum or silver. I will order a few in different sizes very soon.

Failed on first day
I properly seasoned it and it failed on the first run. Don’t bother wasting your time, unless you only plan to use it to melt butter…..

Does not fit Kerr Auto Electromelt Maxi
If the seller had replied to my inquiry about a feature, I wouldn’t have had to return the product. It may work in your device, but it doesn’t fit mine, because the bottom is uniformly flat and lacks the cylindrical depression my device requires. Not appropriate for Kerr Auto-Electromelt Maxi, despite appearing to be of very similar dimensions. You might try it and risk your device, but I won’t.

If you want to melt cans, like I always do, look for something a little bigger
The cavity fits a standard soda can exactly which seems cool at first but the fit is so exact that if the can is crumpled at all it won't fit. A crushed can is a definite no-can-do... I can't go for that.
