Best tasting hot sauce I have ever had. It is spicy but doesn’t have the burn of some others. So if you’re wanting a lot of heat this probably wouldn’t be what you’re looking for. But it does have excellent pepper flavor.

This is the best hot sauce. It goes perfectly in a bowl of homemade gumbo. The flavor isn’t intense and it doesn’t overpower your food. It’s subtle and enhances the flavor.

Product came packaged well, and on time. I am comparing this to my three favorite hot sauces, Franks, Tabasco, and Sriracha. I buy these to flavor food, not burn my mouth. Medium heat is best for most foods. Tabasco is thin, and the first ingredient is distilled vinegar. I use this on over easy eggs, and not much else. Sriracha is thicker with Chili being the first ingredient. I use this on Asian dishes. It also has ingredients I don't care for. Second ingredient is sugar. Franks first ingredient is aged cayenne peppers. Simple ingredients. This is great for chicken wings and a few other assorted dishes. Its consistency is close to Crystal. Crystal's first ingredient is aged red cayenne peppers, then distilled vinegar, and salt. Same ingredients as Tabasco, but in a different order. The taste and consistency is very different. This will replace Tabasco in my pantry. I think Crystal may be more versatile. Because of the ingredients, it may replace Sriracha. Franks is still a great Buffalo Wing sauce. I'll need to compare with Crystal. I think it has a shot. Crystal is not available in my local grocery stores. It may be more of a southern thing. I ordered it on Amazon in a 2 bottle pack after reading reviews of hot sauces. I will give the second bottle to a friend if she approves. Try this, I think you will like it.

We learned about this hot sauce on a recent trip to New Orleans. Being from the West Coast we had never run into it, but a server recommended it for our raw oysters (which we love). Boy! Was that a great recommendation!! Much better than tabasco, with a nice zing and a very balanced flavor that really complemented the oysters we had! We won't be without it again!

The fact that I've reordered this like 4 or so times already should say something! I like how full of flavor this is without being overpowering in the heat level. I live in an assisted living facility and while the food here isn't horrid, there's lots of dishes the sauce improves!

They were both broken and damaged.

This stuff is great but expensive! A couple of years ago I was on vacation in Biloxi Mississippi and used it almost every day in my Seafood Gumbo and really enjoyed it. So when I got home I checked my local grocery stores and couldn’t find it anywhere. We went back to Biloxi this year and again I really enjoyed using this stuff, so when we got nome I checked Amazon and was happy to find it! I ordered two bottles for $14.99. Shortly after getting it from Amazon I happened to see it at my local grocery store for only $2.49 a bottle! Long story short it’s very good but very expensive compared to my local grocery store. I would have returned it but they have a no return policy on this item. I will not be buying it from Amazon in the future.
