Great idea
Works great, have never bought a 2 piece rod for my baitcaster . Used it all day on the pond and no problem. And you have 2 extra tips. The tip of the rod is what I most likely break.

Misleading but works well
These rods work well and are sensitive enough for me. In the listing you can clearly see a hook keeper in the listing but my rod did not come with one.

Very Nice Rod for the Price (and more)
Ok, so I took a while to actually get some fishing time in with this before writing a review. Not great luck, but have gotten a few bass in the 1-3lb range, a couple catfish in the 2-3lb range, and a root snag that wasn't big, but I did do a little whipping of the rod around and then pulled the root up, which probably used about 10+ lbs force.First, delivery was as expected, and the product arrived in good condition. I used the M tip to date, just to get kind of an average in, and it casts well. It also does look sharp and I have to say, it has something that I hadn't seen before, but it made so much sense, I wonder why all rods don't have it - a swiveling catch to latch your hook to... pulling it out makes it so much easier to attach than trying to catch on one that is bent close to the rod.Let me add at this point, that I don't have, and never will have, any real expensive rods. It pains me to spend $75-80 on a rod, so I could never see myself spending $2-300 for one. I don't fish for a living, so would not be recouping my money by using them. I fish for fun, and honestly would rather get more tackle than spend more on the rod/reel. I get years of fun out of them, even when fishing just about daily as the weather permits, and if I have to buy a new rod or reel after 5-6 years, then I guess I will have to do that... lolThe look and feel on this rod is very nice. It compares very easily to my most expensive rods, and I would have to wager that, shy of having built in hand warmers or massagers in a more expensive rod, I doubt there would be a major difference in them that would warrant the prices. I will be purchasing another of these at some point, as one of my other rods just isn't very comfortable in use.The vendor also really seems to care about their product and has reached out to me a couple times now to write a review, but I just hadn't had the time to get out on the water with it. I think that if anyone does have an issue with it, that they would be prompt to respond and try to make the situation right.Tight lines to y'all...

Great looking rod set - Striking appearance and seemingly quality workmanship
Rod appears to be well-built. All three tips look identical except for the weight designation label (ML, M, MH) at the base of each extension piece, but each does feel like there is a resistance difference between them with the "MH" piece having the firmest feel and the "ML" being the most flexible. The carry case is handy (though mine arrived with a broken zipper-pull which Sportmall has promised to send a replacement bag ASAP). There is also a 4-section rod wrap roll-up with ties to keep the rod pieces separated which, in turn, fits into the zippered carry case, keeping everything neat and protected. Wish the case was a hard tube instead, but nice nonetheless!I won't have an opportunity to try this rod out for another month, so I cannot currently comment on the overall, and lasting, integrity which some customers reported having had issues with. I know graphite rods, in general, are known more for their lightness in weight rather than known to be the toughest pieces of equipment, endurance-wise, compared to fiberglass or fiber/carbon hybrids like Ugly-Stik, and can sometime easily snap out of nowhere from sheer or tension forces. They seem to be best suited for fish up to 12lbs versus other rod materials' ability to handle 2x-3x that before snapping. However, this rod set is quite striking in appearance and seemingly good quality workmanship, so we shall soon see how well it handles in the field. I am eager to try it out on my upcoming trip to Minnesota, and will happily update my review once I have had the chance to do some real-life testing.

Sure beats my old fiberglass rods
I have been fishing for 63 years since my first walk to the river with my borrowed, from my dad, fishing pole and reel at 7 years old.. Never caught anything but the fishing bug.. I worked in the vegetable garden to get my first rod and reel.. A Ted Wiliams rod and a Stainless Zebco Reel.. It took till I was 9 but finally had the money to get my gear.. Next I needed a bike, back to the garden.. I still have that rod and reel.. I have had quite a few others during those decades as I explored different fishing concepts i.e. salmon, flyfishing etc..I haven't upgraded my gear or bought anything new for probably 30 years.. If it ain't broke don't fix it right? Am I cheap? Both probably..Retired now and looking to relive some of my first joys I retired my first fishin pole and reel to above my fireplace.. I scoured Amazon for something new and after reading a ton of reviews and decided on The Entsport casting rod and Zebcos top of the line closed face reel. It is fantastic.. I can feel every touch from a picky bluegill to with a stiffer rod tip a large mouth bass with surface plugs.. Very very light..I was concerned before I ordered because one reviewer posted that Zebco 's wouldn't fit into the reel seat on the rod.. I checked with the supplier and he said I was good to go. Also some negative stuff about broken on arrival but always the supplier backed their product and replaced quickly.. Of course I ordered and am very happy. .Reel fits nicely and I haven't had to contact the supplier about anything..This wont ever replace my first Rod and reel in my heart but on the River, lake, creek or pond It will do very nicely.. A plug for sears and zebco, they both work very nice after all these years and thousands of fish.. Thank You

very poor quality
Terrible quality. Cheap materials, the handle staggers separately from the rod
