The best piece of equipment for anyone who is likely to be sitting for long periods. The oval shape is far better than round because you can support more of your upper legs on it - you won't wobble about. The material is soft, comfortable and easy to clean. It has worked wonders for my father who was developing a very small pressure sore on his bottom. Using this cushion sorted the problem out in a couple of days - the hole in the middle ensures no pressure and healing can take place naturally.

I bought this product to relieve pressure after an operation and it worked beautifully. It's lightweight, comfortable and it was a good size. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I recently gave birth and needed stitches which were very painful , I couldn’t sit to feed my baby, I was recommended this cushion by my sister in law and ordered it straight away . It came every quickly and I started to use it immediately. I felt the difference straight away . Less pain n more comfortable.My husband likes to sit on it when he is at his desk using the laptop and my mum likes it too , she ordered One straight away

The cushion was harder Han expected. I bought it for someone who had recently had prolapse surgery believing it might allow her to sit more comfortably in the correct seating position to maintain the correct posture. The lady had been sitting on the base of the spine and lower back which has gone into painful spasm. Sadly the cushion proved too hard for her to use. The product and cover are well made and together are probably perfectly adequate for other conditions.

I read up on a lot of reviews on these types of cushions, and although this was one of the more expensive - I figured it would be worth it. I was right! I was told by my nurse to get a donought cushion following an operation and I honestly can’t of imagined my recovery without it. It’s been so helpful for sitting at the dinner table and at my desk too. It’s a good size for a woman and relieves pressure completely.

This is a godsend for fissure pain! Working from home given the current sitch, so sitting for any length of time is a nightmare! This helps! Not 100% but I put that more down to my condition rather than the cushion, those who think it's too hard maybe try it for a bit longer 😏 your body heat does make it more supple 😉 worth the money and delivery good!

I just had to leave others a reply who were thinking of buying this product. I recently purchased this item for my 93yr old mother, to alleviate pressure from her coccyx area which was beginning to become painful for her when she had been sitting for long periods of time. It was delivered to her home address, no fuss and the very next day. I have given this item one star because the cover was ok, although darker than the picture, and the delivery was prompt. I visited my mother few days later, and found that she was not using the cushion; when I asked her why, she said it was so hard it, she couldn't bear it. So I immediately thought it was because of her age or she just wasn't prepared to try it for longer, so I sat on it. Well, I could immediately see what she meant! It is so hard, really uncomfortable and after about 15mins I could feel pressure on the underneath of my thighs from the edge of the cushion. Also, it is NOT memory foam! When you press the foam it immediately springs back very quickly. It is a sort of white plastic type foam. I had to buy a piece of memory foam, cut it to shape, and use the cover on this. Hopefully my mum will get some relief now as its much nicer to sit on.

Comfortable to sit on for about half a day (due to illness I'm very much sofa-bound), but after that I found the foam too hard. Even a pillow over the top didn't help and the backs of my legs soon became too sore to continue using it.

Great for hips after surgery.
